Know Your Ally – Red Ravagers

Hey guys! Welcome back to the beloved HF column: Know Your Ally! A series to learn and know more about our wonderful allies! Today, we’re interviewing another of our allies,
RED RAVAGERS [RR]

The Red Ravagers are an army created by Honda and happy_phantxm (Maxine) in May 2020 followed by an opening event on 9th June 2020 maxing 12, making Red Ravagers an official army registered under Club Penguin Armies Media. But later on, CPAM closed down and became CPAH (Club Penguin Army Hub) and the Ravagers became an official S/M army registered under CPAH.

On September 17th, 2020, Honda stepped down from his position as Red Commander. On the 23rd of the same month, MermaidBri was promoted to Red Commander. During her entire career, MermaidBri tried to quit several times but all of her attempts were foiled by the heroic RR HCOM.

On December 5th, Maxine retired from her position as Red Commander and just after few days Neha was promoted to Red Commander and along with BaileyBear was also inducted as a RR Hero.

But there came a hurdle because of which the Red Ravagers shut down in January in response to the dangers presented by the Club Penguin army community, continuing as a gaming community. The server was rebranded to Ravvy Hangout. Just after a month, the leaders announced that the Red Ravagers army was being revived. Since then, they have been in action.

Despite being a new army, RR has dominated the S/M army community ever since they were created. The reason Honda and Max made the army was to serve as a haven for their friends – a place where everyone felt comfortable and had fun, and participated in army events together. The army would go on to max around 15-20, placing 8th on the Top Ten Armies list during summer.

Know Their Leaders:

Currently, RR is lead by BaileyBear (Red Commander) whose ideas, leadership, and craziness are supported by Jugdish, Bakooks, BoMoBuddy, and Tea (Third in Command). They together have been opening many gateways to achievements and I had the privilege to get to know them. So, let me share with you guys…

Ru: Hey Bailey, it is so nice to meet you. So, could you tell me more about yourself and how long did it take you to get where you are right now?

BaileyBear: Heyo! I joined RR about a year ago and during this year I’ve met a tonne of people. From different backgrounds, meaning armies and their real lives. I have loved meeting all these people and honestly, without them, I would leave this community and never look back. But instead, I’m like most people, stuck in CPA because of emotional attachments. E8

Ru: Haha wonderful and yes obviously there are so many more memories (more tea) to make!! Following this, what inspires you to be you every day? Do you have any motto for life?

BaileyBear: I’m inspired by the fact I know there is no limit, literally nothing in the world is impossible much less in a club penguin world. I struggle a lot because of this mindset as well, especially now that I’m a leader because when I fail to accomplish those things it makes me feel like I cant do things right. Thankfully I have my team of HCOM. They are some of the best people I’ve worked with and know how to lift me up and cover for me when I need them. I’m so proud of them and happy I made them my team and honestly, I just want to succeed for them. I owe them that much ❤️.

Ru: That’s really astonishing. You have a giving nature and that motivates you. You leaders never fail to inspire us. But what if you had the chance, what’s the one thing you would change about yourself?

BaileyBear: A lot of people would think I would say my impulsivity but they are wrong. My impulsivity is probably my most useful skill as a leader because it makes me unafraid of chance. What I would actually change is my temper. I get angry easily, especially when it involves ravvies and this can get me into trouble. SORRY AGAIN TO ALL THE OTHER ARMY LEADERS I’VE CUSSED OUT!! LOVE YOU!

Ru: To be honest, these are your strengths of course. That is how everything gets on schedule and working. As this is near the end… Is there anything else that interests you other than armies? Do you have any hobbies which you would like to tell us?

BaileyBear: I have recruited TWO people from tinder while on leave. No, I have no hobbies this is my life. Just kidding… When I’m not working on armies I’m usually writing or talking with friends. My writing was my first coping mechanism so it’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

Well, that is the truly loved Bailey. And by the blessings of Scorp… I got to see her pets as well as another short version of her writings. She has an amazing personality and I got more curious about where does this fun-loving nature come from?? Let’s go meet her supporters and learn about their Ravvy mode! Grrrrrrrrrrr…

Ru: Hello Ravagers… What do you prefer to be called? We would like to get to know you all and how long did it take you to get where you are right now?

Bakooks: Well my username is Bakooks, but as people often get confused with my name and how to announce it, I usually go by baks (pronounced “baks” but I don’t mind it being pronounced differently)…For those who do not know me very well, I am told that I am a very bubbly character. I just enjoy making new friends and making sure everyone is in tiptop shape both mentally and physically 😀
As one of RR’s HCOM, I am usually the one who makes things light-hearted as we all need some laughs and positivity every now and then…since I recently came off of leave, I am still adjusting back to the cp army groove and to being one of RRs leaders. I only got into armies in late 2020 (November-December), so I am not as experienced as other leaders in the community, but these past 7 months have brought many new experiences that I would have never thought would happen to me or anyways around me. Though I am in such a high position in the army, I still have lots to learn both as a person and an upcoming leader in this CP Army community and in RR.

BoMoBuddy: I normally go by Bo, just because it’s the easiest part of my name. She/her pronouns if anyone was wondering. There’s not much to me, I’m tea’s bestie of course. I’m a bit of a country gal, and I try my best to be a good friend to those that deserve it. I’ve been in armies since December 23rd, 2020. I wasn’t really active other than occasionally attending an event every week or so, and never active in chat. I guess you can say I was shy, but I was really trying to not become attached to RR or armies because I was not confident enough to have a new friend group. Thanks to tea, however, I went against my better judgment and became a new staff member for RR on March 2nd, 2021, which was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Finally, I became HCOM on May 21, 2021, which was one of the worst decisions I’ve made since. Save me. Hehe just kidding, I love being here and be surrounded by people who care.

Jugdish: I’m Jugdish1800, but most people call me Jug. My cousin and I both joined Ice Warriors back in April (or June, I can’t remember) of 2020 and I joined Red Ravagers at the beginning of August as a high troop. I was promoted to Third in Command on May 17, 2021.

Tea: I’m really fine with anything cause I have quite a few nicknames but I do go by tea without the t capitalized bahaha. Uh for about myself, I’m bo’s bestie ofc, I’m that awkward kid at school that you’ll meet and gets bullied, wait yes I’m that person that cries every day for stupid reasons. How long well I would have to say I wouldn’t be where I am today without bribri so ily and uh tbh no clue how long, I’m still a baby so I still am in my growing maturing zone really. Whatever I work and contribute for is for the people who believe in me and I am very thankful for that.

Ru: Oh my god guys… Stop! You all made me emotional cries. Whatever you all say to convince me but I know deep down you all work so hard to make this the best army for your troops. Coming to that then, What inspires you to be you every day? Do you have any motto for life?

Bakooks: Well one of the biggest things that inspire me when I see nothing else is the friends I have made. As they have always been there for me when I am down, I also want to be there for them whenever they need me. It’s a mindset that I adopted from my family and my parents who always taught me to be of service to others as they have served you. I live each day moving forward and trying to bring people up to the best of my ability for them to be the best possible person they can be. In terms of a motto, I always have a dumb quote that I say every now and then where I go, “ain’t no butt like chicken butt amirite?” It doesn’t make any sense to me but in a way, it’s connected to the way I say “gamer!” a lot as well because I say both of those things in a way that is light-hearted and mood-lifting. It’s a way to remind me that though things aren’t always good and do not make sense, shifting your attitude or mindset can change your perspective on anything to make it make sense. Because I know that deep down the only person who can ultimately change your mind or perspective on things, is yourself. It is something I try to show everyone around me, whether they are friends, enemies, or strangers.

BoMoBuddy: Truly, all my friends are what keep me going. Through all the good and the bad, they are always there for me, and I’m there for them. Also Minecraft. Minecraft is a close second to my friends. Minecraft is the best game ever invented, y’all watch the DSMP? It’s amazing. Who’s your favorite member? Haha nevermind. Anyways…. I don’t necessarily live by a motto, but one comes to mind. “When life gives you lemons, squirt someone in the eye.” 😏

Jugdish: It’s been a combination of things that have inspired me to be who I am. During quarantine and before armies, I had a lot of trouble with my mental health due to the isolation. I went from seeing people every day to being cooped up in my home, and it was extremely sudden. Throughout this year, I’ve learned (from army friends especially) that the only way to stay happy and healthy mind was to be myself and do what I’m interested in. If I had a motto for life, it’d probably be that you will always be better than your worst day.

Tea: What inspires me, well I think before I got recruited to RR, I was just that super introverted kid and girl, the online school was actually great cause I didn’t have to deal with seeing people IRL again. But at the same time, you also feel lonely and when I first got here I also was still my very super shy self and now I feel better knowing I can just go to one of my friend’s DMS and spam them or cry with them together. A moto in life huh…

I think I’ve been following that quote for a solid year and it’s not life cause I switch between quotes a lot okay. I tend to say it to the people who I care a lot about and let them know they are loved and that the pain of the past isn’t supposed to weigh them down.

Ru: cries again. Guys, this is just lovely and blissful. You all are so amazing and I am glad to get to know your own unique Ravvy natures.

The journey so far has not been easy for sure. But the love they have for each other, their own life experiences, and friendship itself motivates them to be better versions of themselves and make their Army grow day by day.

So I hope this enlightens you on one of our allies! We, The Helpers, let us all unlock our Ravvy nature and give our best regards to Red Ravagers. We would like to thank you for being a part of our Help Force family! 💙
