What’s Happening?

Welcome to What’s Been Happening?! Here we will go through all the latest server updates for the week and of course, we can’t forget the casual HF Gossip! Let’s find out What’s Been Happening!

This week we had numerous events, fun games, and segments which were extremely fun especially the preparation for the intense food battles next week!

Week In Short

Sunday, 26th of June 2022

We start off the week with non only but the famous chicken game by ELP! We had the [AUSIA] OPERATION: DON’T LOOK AT THIS CHICKEN which was led by Yoda, Desireus, Racoco, and ROOBOO! With a max of 30+, it was an amazing event!

Monday, 27th of June 2022

Monday was a break day full of fun games in Force Arcadium as well as Recruiting Segments!

Tuesday, 28th of June 2022

Today was also a break with numerous fun games in Force Arcadium as well as Recruiting Segments!

Wednesday, 29th of June 2022

In Help Force we know 2 things: food and animals. What could be better than having an [US] OPERATION: WHAT THE DUCK which was led by Maya, Nervous, and ROOBOO! With a max of 18+, we had a lot of fun!

Thursday, 30th of June 2022

Thursday was a break day! Fun games in Force Arcadium, as well as Recruiting Segments, took place!

Friday, 1st of July 2022

Welcomeeee Julyyy! We started off the month with an intense practice battle vs Ice Warriors! [EU] BATTLE: HEAR THE ROAR which was led by Snowflake and ROOBOO had a max of 25+! It was a very fun event!

Saturday, 2nd of July 2022

Not only a practice battle did we start with for the month, but also a legendary army training! Getting ready for LCXII, we had an [AUSIA] MISSION: LEGENDARY TRAINING which was led by Snowflake and Wynn! With a max of 36+, it was a success!

Scorp’s GOTW Statement

The reason I went for GOTW is because I never got a chance to go for GOTW Specialist, since I joined this army as a high troop and quickly reached General. I noticed that recently, most of the GOTWs refrained from recruiting heavily the way wannabe GOTWs used to. GOTW isn’t just about attending the events and winning games, it’s an overall troop performance award that measures your participation across every domain of HF that rewards you in Sapphires. Those would be events, games, recruiting, blogging, and other rare opportunities to earn sapphires. I wanted to find out for myself if recruiting was really that bad, since I hadn’t recruited in over a month due to semester end exams. Many people think it takes sacrifice of sleep and free time to earn the award, but in my case, all it took was a strong will to maintain efficiency rather than hard work. As I said in the recruiting squadron channel, if you manage your time perfectly, it’s super easy to get lots of recruits even if you barely spend 1 hour or even 30 mins per day recruiting. And that will give you the edge you need to move above your competitors and leave them in the dust. Ofc, you need to combine that with the bare minimum of attending every event you can. Use your brains, do smart work instead of hard work, and learn from all those rude veterans who say HF is a “waste of time”. Don’t be as stupid as they were, don’t waste a single second doing useless things or just staring at your screen waiting for Clyde to leave you alone. Plan to make sure you leave enough time to focus on your irl socialization and work as well.
I’d like to add that the high you get from winning something permanent after a week of disciplined recruiting and attending events is definitely not time wasted.
