Hello Helpers!! Guess who is back with another blog! In this blog, I interview some of the Troops of Help Force and get to know them better. She has been a member of our help family since April 2024, is always around having fun in chat, and has ranked up to Commodore and the CP Tracking Team Head! This week, we are introducing you to the Faces of the Force, our very own Kaiya!!

Welcome back to another edition of Faces of the Force!
At some point, we all have wondered, “Who is menule09?”—and today, we are introducing her and getting to know her! We are sitting down with the amazingly genuine, rock-loving Kaiya (menule09)! From lurking in the chats to becoming an integral part of the tracking team, Kaiya brings the perfect mix of fun, sweetness, and unhinged energy to the Help Force. In today’s Faces of the Force, she shares why she’d love to hang out with the Forger family from Spy x Family, breaks down a hilarious past DnD campaign, and reveals why Diwix would be the first person captured in a horror movie. Heyaa Kaiya!! How you doin today?

Hiii, I’m really good. I just wish it wasn’t as hot this summer in the UK. 🫠

How about you start us off by saying how u joined our server? 😀

I was just chilling on Club Penguin Journey and Malini reached out to me saying there is a fun server I could join. I thought why not, and there I was 😊

Omg Pingu? That’s my bestie. Since then, how have you been enjoying your time in Help Force? Do you have any fond memories of an event you participated in?

I kind of lurked for a while on the server, but it wasn’t until my health took a nosedive that I decided to get involved with events. I was on prolonged medical leave, very sick and HELLA lonely at the time, so getting involved gave me something to look forward to and a community to be part of. I think my fondest memory has to be all of us joining in on one of the battles, with Beasto singing Barbie Girl as a milestone 😂It was such a silly moment, but it’s one that has always stuck with me.

So, who do you consider your closest friend in HF

Hmm, that’s a tough question since there are so many people I’m close to! RuEmma, Runa, Ender, and of course my tracking team. I don’t think I could pick just one person! Definitely a tough choice. 😭

How would you describe HF in 5 words?

Fun, Chaotic, Helpful, Amazing… And maybe a bit unhinged 😊

If you could change one thing about HF (or add anything), what would it be — and why?

Add? Probably I’d add a PokeTwo Assistant to our bots so I can catch Pokémon with weird spellings.
I wouldn’t change anything, I like it here as is. ❤️

What’s a fun “hidden talent” or hobby you have that most people in HF don’t know about?

Hidden talent? Maybe voice acting and radio. I used to have a radio show in uni about rock music!
I also like DnD, Anime and knitting hobbies wise

Having your own rock radio show in uni is so cool! What was your signature radio intro catchphrase or on-air DJ persona like??

I used to say “Let’s Rock the World!” or “Let’s get rocking!” I never really had a persona as a DJ….. I low-key hate when people have these over-the-top personas or constantly talk over the music. 😂 I’ve always been more about just being myself and letting the music speak for itself. I’m all about authenticity. I also had a co-host from North Macedonia who was a real metal head, so for me it was all about having fun and finding more music to listen to!

If you were hired to voice act a brand-new villain or sidekick in an anime, what would your signature voice style or catchphrase sound like?

I’d probably be a very self-assured villain who gets absolutely destroyed by the MC way too early on. 😂 I’m picturing some obnoxious, high-pitched pink girl who is a complete bully and acts like she’s the most powerful person alive, only to get humbled immediately. Maybe she secretly has a really sad backstory that gets revealed later, after she has been defeated and everyone goes “nooooo” but it’s too late, she dead 🐍

That gave me Harley Quinn vibes. If you had to pick one legendary rock song as your personal walk-out theme music every time you join the HF voice chat, which song is playing??

Definitely “Barracuda” by Heart, although I was gonna say “C’mon Let’s Go” by Girlscholl, maybe one on odd days and one on even days? :notes: Nah, I’ll stick with Barracuda, it has that perfect mix of classic rock energy and it’s very recognisable since it was on Guitar Hero!!

Let’s say you were DMing a custom DnD one-shot starring members of the Help Force, what kind of chaotic fantasy quest would you send them on??

Lmao, I actually ran a one-shot like this before where I told everyone to make their characters as ridiculously overpowered as possible, only to drop them into a world where absolutely everyone else was just as ridiculous in the opposite direction. Although there was like a boss fight with a God that got unhappy, to keep it entertaining.

The actual quest was to make a marzipan cake. That was it. No world-ending threat, no ancient evil just a little cake for the King’s daughter’s 6th Birthday. They did need to figure out where the recipe was and what happened to the original baker for it, but it’s always the most fun seeing what people decide to do with a completely normal objective. 😂

If you could instantly jump into the universe of any anime for one day just to hang out with the characters, which anime are you picking?

Probably Spy x Family! I feel like spending a day with the Forger family would be very fun.
Plus, I’d absolutely want to see how long I could hang out with Anya before she reads my mind and exposes everything. And then I’d obviously pet their dog Bond. I feel like there is a way too animes where the world is screwed up in one way or another and I’d deffo not wanna be there.

What is the coolest or most complex knitting project you’ve ever finished making?

A sweater, I think that’s probably the most complex thing I’ve made. It wasn’t anything particularly cool pattern-wise, but I find knitting really relaxing. Usually, I stick to little soft toys because they’re small enough to keep me interested and I can actually finish the project without getting bored.

What kind of food do you enjoy?

I REALLY like pizza. When I was a child, going out for food was only something we did on special occasions, and we would almost always go out for pizza. So I think that’s why I love them so much haha. My favourite has to be ham and mushroom! I really love mushrooms in general. Oh, and Lithuanian pink soup is absolutely godsent💃

If you were trapped in a horror movie, who would survive until the end of the movie, who would be the first to get captured and who would be hiding in one place until the end?

I reckon Runa would survive till the end, Diwix would be the first one captured (which is why he had to retire, no cap) and I would be the hiding one. I’m not a very brave person 👉👈😣

Are you currently reading any books or watching any series? Which genre do you like the best?

I’m currently reading a Lithuanian book called Mylimi kaulai (Beloved Bones). I try to read at least one book a year in Lithuanian so I don’t forget the language, since I no longer live there. It’s a bit of a weird book, but I’m only a third of the way through, so we’ll see where it goes! It won some awards so I’m sure it’ll get better. As for series, I’m currently watching Witch Hat Atelier, and it’s fairly interesting so far! Although, I think Little Witch Academia has the stronger plot so far. I still have a few episodes left to finish of Witch Hat Atelier, so maybe there is gonna be a nice plot twist. I actually really like psychological anime, and I often listen to murder mysteries while I clean. But honestly, I’m pretty open to all genres apart from romance. Romance makes me want to puke, ugh 🤮🤢

If you had a ticket to go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Would you like someone to tag along with you? If yes, who?

Oh, Japan, 100%! I actually hate travelling because I get so tired, and planes and all the shaking around in transport make me feel pretty awful. But I would absolutely put myself through it for Japan. I’d want to visit the Pokémon Centre, Kyoto, Tokyo, and some of the smaller villages. I’ve been watching anime for about 20 years now, so it would be really cool to finally see the country where so much of it comes from.

As for who I’d take with me, definitely someone who actually enjoys planning, because I HATE doing that part!!! Any volunteers? 🫪
