Around The HF World – Hailey

Hi Helpers! Welcome back to a new edition of Around The HF World, the series where we explore Help Force’s members’ countries! In today’s post, I had the chance to learn more about Canada from Hailey, a member who has been an awesome and active helper. So, let’s discover her country!

The Country Interview

Howdy Hailey! Let’s start our journey by asking: What is your nationality? If you have more than one, please mention them!
hii sammie 😀 well, my family is slavic and we live in canada, so i guess slavic/canadian LOL
Very awesome! Can you share some traditions from Canada with us?
yess! a lot of canada has indigenous people, i mean technically they are the original canadians who owned this land. but anyway, the country tries to keep traditions alive with our indigenous people with celebrating things like pow-wow’s, where everyone can gather on first nation land and eat traditional foods like fried dough etc, and everyone dances and listens to music and i think it’s a really important piece of canada since like i said, it is the traditions of the original canadians
WOW! That’s so cool! I love that. I’d love to try fried dough hehe. Care to share some traditional meals from Canada?
ouuu, well poutine is probably the most well known traditional food, basically just fries with gravy all over it and a bunch of cheese!!! HEAVENLY I KNOW
YUM! sounds amazing I really want to try poutine one day!! Is there any place you’d recommend to visit in particular in Canada?
i would highly recommend the province British Columbia, the scenery is so beautiful, there’s high mountains, and it’s also a very diverse province, culture wise !!! 😀
That sounds like a beautiful & interesting place to visit! Now, please rate your country in the three categories we discussed, using a scale of 1 to 10.
hmm. like a solid 8!!! :3
Finally, would you recommend foreigners to visit Canada?
YES!!!! WE LOVE EVERYONE HERE! 😀

Hailey shared some nice traditions, foods, and places from Canada! Thank you for being part of the post! Leave a comment on your opinion about Canada, and if you would like to visit it, and don’t forget to leave a like! See you next time!
