Monster Maker Catalogue Secrets

This catalogue has three secret items:

Shadow Wings on the top curve of the “S,” Dino Horns hidden in the hole of the “R,” and Glowing Skeleton Paint on the top chest bone of the Skeleton Costume. 💀

Dark Maze Guide

To enter the maze, head to the Forest and follow the path on the left labeled “Dark Chamber.” 🌲💀 Once you step inside, get ready for a musical puzzle.

Step 1: Solve the Musical Puzzle 🎹

As I warned you, to proceed, you’ll need to solve the musical puzzle. Make sure to wait for the steam geysers to finish revealing the sequence before you play it on the organ.

There are three rounds, and in each one, you’ll need to repeat the correct color sequence:

1. Pink → Blue → Orange → Pink
2. Pink → Orange → Blue → Pink → Green
3. Green → Pink → Orange → Blue → Pink → Pink

Follow the sequences carefully, and the steam geysers will sink back into the ground, revealing a clear path and unlocking the door ahead.

Get ready, it’s about to get very dark! If the darkness gives you chills, you can always equip your Night Vision Goggles from the PSA Agent Catalog to light the way.

Step 2: Grab a Lantern at the Dark Chamber

Once inside the Dark Chamber, it will be… well, dark. 💀 But don’t worry! Move slightly to the right to find the Storm Lantern. Equip it to help light your way through the maze.

If you’d like an even clearer view to see the entire room, you can also wear the Dark Vision Goggles from the PSA Agent Catalogue. You can even put them on before entering the chamber, totally up to you!

Step 3: Monster Room

Here, you just need to follow the path into the Monster Lab. Easy!

Step 4: Monster Lab

Welcome to the Monster Lab! 🧪 While you explore, collect the free item on the right, by the tree: The Purple Bat Wings.

You’ll also find the Monster Maker Catalogue, with all sorts of spooky outfits to create your perfect creature look. 👻

Limbo Maze Guide

To enter this maze, go to the Beacon. Once you’ve made it, move straight into the portal.
PS. Remember to grab the pin while your here! 

After entering, you’ll appear in a dark room with moving lights. Move while the light is on the path and hit check points to save your progress; be careful, if you move while the path is dark you’ll restart at your last checkpoint.
Tip: Press ; to remove all interface to see the path easier and to avoid clicking on other penguins.

Follow the path above to reach the end and complete the maze!

Limbo Maze Rewards

At the moment you can get 2 items inside of the maze, the Ghost Puffle Costume & the Crimson Rose.
To get the Ghost Puffle Costume, follow the path below.

For the Crimson Rose, before leaving the maze through the exit, walk over to the box on the left.

Don’t leave just yet, there are 2 other items you can receive once you exit the Limbo Maze.

To get the Vampire Background, talk to the Emperor Vampire.

Before leaving through the portal, equip the Crimson Rose and walk back upstairs and to the right, there will be a glowing rose by a door. Go through the door to then meet the Moon Spirit in the Moon Dimension, talk to the spirit and receive the last item, the Crimson Moon Background.

Party Quests for the CP Journey Halloween Party 2026

Welp, helpers, it’s time to earn some rubies for Captain Crimson, wherever he may appear! 🦜As usual, the quests are back, so let’s dive in and crack on with them!

Easy Quests

1. The Cards Have Spoken

Have your fortune told by the tarot cards.

To complete this quest, go to the Book Room through the Coffee Shop. Once in the room, go to the Fortune booth on the right. Click the start button then choose a card, you’ll receive a Tarot Card Igloo Decoration and complete the quest!

4. Heir to The Crest

Pick up your species crest

Visit one of the 5 species shrines and grab the representative crest pin to join a team!
The Fae Crest is located in the Forest, Hunter Crest in Snow Forts, Witch Crest is in the Docks, Vampire Crest on Ski Hill, and Wildling Crest on the Iceberg.

Note: Once you have joined a team, you cannot switch, so choose wisely.

5. Castle Trust Fall

Prove your trust the Crimson Moon at the old vampire castle

For this quest, head on over to the Beacon through the Lighthouse. Then enter the portal to the Limbo Maze, after entering, you’ll complete the quest.

6. What Lurks Within?

Take the quiz to find out what species you are

Click the checklist icon at the top right of the page, and answer all 5 questions to receive a species. If the species you got doesn’t match your aura, you can retake the quiz as many times as you’d like.

Medium Quests

1. Sweets in the Shadows

Find a hidden piece of candy in the limbo maze

Enter the Limbo Maze and find a glowing pile of candy.

2. Knock Knock, Trick or Treat!

Find the candy stash in 10 different igloos

This quest requires an open igloo, so pop in your igloo and open it. After it’s open, click the candy icon next to the checklist icon and claim the Pile O’ Moon Candy to place in your igloo. Place it anywhere then walk over it to start playing!

After clicking on a suggested igloo, you’ll have 60 seconds to find the Pile O’ Candy, once found you’ll receive moon candy! You’ll also receive moon candy as users visit your igloo to play. Do this 9 more times to complete the quest.

6. Waddle-In Fright Night

Watch Night of the Living Sled Movie

Night of the Living Sled is making a comeback! This time, you’ll watch all 3 parts in the Dance Lounge. Remember to stay in the room until the movie ends to make sure it registers!

2. Kindred Spirits

Match at least four items with someone at your shrine

After picking up your species crest, stay at their shrine and match 4 items with another penguin. These 4 items can be anything, but using your teams catalogue items would work perfectly.

3. Escape from Limbo

Reach the end of the limbo maze

Complete the Limbo Maze by making to and through the exit. Check out our Limbo Maze Guide part of the guide for a detailed explanation!

2. Attack of the Puffle Clones

Match One Puffle item with 30 Penguins at Pet Shop

Don’t have a puffle? Well, you’ll need one for this quest! Head on over to the Pet Shop, and view the Pet Furniture Catalogue to find Puffle items. Put one on your puffle and wait for a crowd of well-dressed puffles to show up.

There are several stamps you can pick up while exploring the Halloween Party, so you may as well grab them while you’re busy completing all those quests!

Explorer Stamp

Visit all the decorated rooms around the island. This one’s tough as almost every single room is decorated, and I really do mean every room! 😅

Monster Smash

For this stamp, just wear a monster outfit during this Halloween Party!
You can wear it anywhere on the island! 👻 This is the only party where you can’t earn this one until next year, so go all out and dress up for the spooks! 🎃🕸️

Path Finder

Complete the Dark Chamber, Limbo and Monster Room mazes to reach the lab. You can find the walk through in the Dark Maze Guide & Limbo Maze Guide sections of the guide.

Party Puzzle

Solve the organ puzzle and open the door at the Dark Swamp for the stamp. See the Dark Maze Guide section of our guide for more information.

Club Penguin Journey Halloween Party 2026 Conclusion

Halloween is a great time of the year, especially with all of the free candy you can get! If exploring Haunted Houses is your thing, then the return of the Haunted Mansion will surely satisfy that spooky need.

With only a few days left in October and till Halloween, I’m putting the final touches on my costume. What will you be for Halloween? And if you don’t dress up, what are your favorite scary movies to fulfill that eerie itch?
