The Help Force Gem Tournament- Introduction

In the midst of the shortage in the mines, we have gained new sources for our currency. Our helpers have been split into three teams: Amethyst, Ruby, and Emerald. There’s no team without one or two leaders. Without further ado, let’s get to the juicy details of this tournament as well as interview them in hopes of unravelling their plans for their respective teams!

Designed By Sharky

The theme this time is a fun one: GEMS! Three great minds came together to create this fun event for us helpers: Lisa, Dhanush, and Valo! We will have fun tasks to complete as well as games to earn points for our respective teams, and more posts to come! With the help of the higher command- Runa, Jo, and Ru- it has boosted our activity levels quite a bit, bringing both old and new members together.

I reached out to the leaders and obtained an exclusive interview, highlighting their opinions on this event.

What does being in your respective gem team mean to you?

Runa: Being in Team Ruby means friendship, determination, & hard-work.

Lisa: Ooh great question 😀 Back in 2019, HF had a theme week called Rubies vs Sapphires, I was Team Rubies’ staff/prefect back then. It was the first theme week I participated in (i think it was the first theme ever hosted but i might be wrong) so becoming the leader or just being in team Ruby again is a very full circle moment for me I love it yayayayay

Valo: To be a member of team amethysts is an absolutely mystical experience, I love amethyst, it’s shiny and a gem so ethereal and unique, and it reflects in our team too, embracing individuality amongst togetherness. Random fact I also love the ost Infinite Amethyst by Lena Raine, it holds a very deep meaning for me :AcheronHeart_Gwenivere:

Ru: To me, being part of Amethyst means standing out in our own way. Like the gem itself, we are shaped over time by the experiences and challenges we go through, and thats what makes us unique.

Dhanush: Well being in emeralds feels great!

Jo: It means being part of the greatest team. More importantly, it means not being part of those stinky rubies and amethysts

What do you think is your team’s biggest strength?

Runa: I’d say our biggest strength is our teamwork; we’ll join together during any team challenge and do our best to earn those points!

Lisa: Teamwork!! I think we have great team spirit and everyone is encouraging/rooting for everyone else yeah 😀

Valo: I love the unity and competitive spirit of the team. They are always ready to give their best, always ready to help, and it’s just a wholesome little mini community supporting each other out. :kafheartpurp:

Ru: By the luck of Ozzy, I think we’ve got a really good mix of experienced people and some great new generation members. What sets us apart is how well everyone works together. People take turns on puzzles, help each other out, and always hype each other up during games. It’s honestly been really nice seeing everyone come together like that.

Dhanush: we are the casuals thats our strength

Jo: Our colour. You see, only losers use purple and red. Green is reserved for winners, which means Emeralds will win.

Who do you see as your biggest competition?

Runa: I’d say Team Amethyst is our biggest competition right now. They have a team full of aces, but nothing Team Ruby can’t handle 🔥

Lisa: I mean in my opinion, amethysts have alot of the active arcadium participants but emeralds arent to be scared of either, so I’ll say both. Not gonna underestimate any of them <3

Valo: One thing about rng segregation is there’s less to no chance of uneven matchups and steamrolls by one side. That makes both the teams emeralds and rubies equally strong contenders. I see this less of a competition and more of a teamwide effort to strive together for victory ✌️

Ru: Ruby and Emerald are both solid competition. They each have their own strengths and their own brand of chaos. I’d say all three teams are pretty evenly matched. That being said, I have full faith in the Amethysts and we are here to win. I have no evidence for this, but I believe it.

Dhanush: amthyest is the competition…they are scary

Jo: Probably Lisa. She’s more dangerous than her entire team. 2nd most dangerous would probably be RU. You can never know what she’s plotting.

Anything else you want to add?

Runa: GO TEAM RUBY!!!!67!!!!

Lisa: I love team ruby :Ruby: :0hearts1:

Valo: I bought a theme ticket just for the funnies but it ended up being an amazing twist and turn of events of how everything unfolded with the theme setup and execution. Ru and Runa and Jo have been very cooperative and set the entire thing up from scratch, and we, team amethysts getting to bond over this is something to be proud to be a part of. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to the hf administration.

Ru: This is the first time Val and I have teamed up as leaders. We’ve known each other since 2020 and have been good friends, so I’m really excited for this opportunity. And to the HF leaders who put this whole theme together: amazing idea. I’ve seen how much thought and detail you guys have put into everything, and the spirit has been really high these past few weeks. I’m having a lot of fun seeing so many members active and involved. And with that, if we win, the emotional damage will simply be dealt with through more games in the future. Promise. 💜Also, I would like to thank my team for putting up with me this past week. Truly, that’s the real team effort.

Dhanush: #neomatters 🤡

Jo: Emeralds – hard to find, harder to beat
