Lydia’s Dairy Diary

Salut et bienvenue to the best series on the Help Force website. It is my honour to be able to come and write about my extraordinary life (finally). This series is a joke, if you couldn’t tell, and not supposed to be a fully serious article. In simple terms, I have nothing better to do with my life!

Je me Présente

While we all know how amazing I am, there is certainly more than that appears on the surface. For example, did you know that I’m a ginger? Didn’t think so. Explains the immaculate personality I guess. I’m also from sunny Britain but I originate from France, I live very rurally and I bless the staff with photos of my horses way too much. I would say that I’m an extrovert even though I dislike 98% of the population. I spend most of the very little free time I have drawing, reading, horse riding or skiing or using extensive vocabulary and slang that no one understands.

Mes animaux

Since I live incredibly rurally, I’m very lucky to own many different animals! I have 4 horses; Celeste, Snow, Tinkerbell and Libby, as well as a dog; Penny, and thanks to my mum being a professional photographer she gets some very snazzy photos of them. I also have loads of livestock such as cows, sheep etc. however wouldn’t be worth listing because it could go on for ages and we eat them eventually so..

Le ski et moi

Many know about my experience within skiing and where I want to take it, and it was suggested by a few of my closer friends in HF to include something about it in the article since I have a lot of stories to tell and there’s a lot of interesting things that have happened to me while being with my ski team. For those who don’t know, pre-covid times I used to ski nationally with a youth slalom ski team, I used to have aspirations to take it to a much higher level (eg. Olympics, and not the bed type.) however covid and some other stuff in my life prevented me from taking it that far.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can just google ‘Super Giant Slalom’ and the photos of it are fairly explanatory. Anyway, as of next week I’ll be telling some stories about my experiences in the final part of the article, gonna keep yall on a cliff hanger :>

That’s it for this week’s Lyd Diary Dairy however we’ll be back in two weeks so keep an eye out for it! If there’s anything specific you’d like to see in the next article let me know!
