WORLD OF CINEMA-Neoblaze

Greetings fellow Helpers! Welcome to a new edition of World of Cinema by me, the one and only Sal. In this new edition, I decided to interview Arcadium Head, Neoblaze/Kenny! This was an amazing interview full of information and flavour.

Hello Neo! How are you doing?

Hello everyone I am doing well

First of all, let’s get to know each other. You can describe yourself in a few words if you want.

If I’m asked to describe myself in a few words I would choose not to, because this language does not have words good enough to do me justice.

Wow, a very bold answer. When did you join the Help Force

I barged my way into this place on a fateful 24th of May in the year 2019

Ah, I see, a veteran member of HF. What are or were your goals in HF?

I have had no grand aspirations in HF, especially not ones involving becoming a staff, I simply enjoyed spending time in this bustling crowd of weirdos. (Harrassment. My goal is harrassment.)

Now the main question is, what movie does a man like you enjoy?

Speaking of movies, I don’t have one particular style to fixate on, I just like interesting stories so I’m open to mostly all styles of storytelling there is.

(Except stuff like Marvel movies where writers get paid by the amount of unfunny jokes they can shove into one minute of screentime)

(real) That’s a nice thing Neo. But if you had to choose one movie that truly touches your heart, what would it be?

There have been quite a few stories to have touched upon this hypothetical heart over the years. I am going to let my recency bias take over me and talk about Look back : an animated movie released recently, based on a oneshot by Tatsuki Fujimoto (the neurologically suspicious man you might know as the author of Chainsaw Man)

very interesting indeed, animation movies always hit the heart. May you elaborate on the movie with me and the audience?

It  is a story about two stranger kids who just drew cool art for their school magazine but eventually meet each other and witness their shared hyperfixation on drawing change the course of both their lives. It should suffice not to probe for more details and just dive into it and enjoy a deep and bittersweet experience that despite not having anything grand like a war between aliens and robots or a world ending apocalypse, has all the amazement there is to find in true cinema (the moral lesson of the story is that autism is cool or smth idk I don’t draw)

Wonderful movie in my opinion. Do you like watching movies at home or at the theatres?

I like watching movies on the big screens, but I like even more being a sailor of the seven seas 🏴‍☠️

That’s amazing Neo and I’m happy to see you enjoy such a good movie. Finally, is there something that you would like to address to the audience?

To the modern movie audience worldwide (the 3 people that clicked the link), do not settle for cheap gratification be it movies or other media or any sort of creative experience.

Irony is overrated. Look for sincerity.

and also the French must perish.

Thank you, Neo, for taking the time to answer my questions.

Well then folks this was the interview with Neoblaze. I hope you liked it, and see you next time on “WORLD OF CINEMA”
