Song of the Week #53 Eyes Without a Face – Billy Idol

Hey there helpers! Welcome back to the Song of the Week series. This week, I am joined by the awesome Primadonna! She reccomended Eyes Without a Face by Billy Idol!

Here’s what she had to say about the song:

I think it’s the song’s vibe and beat. It manages to transport me to an era I didn’t live through, but one that was really great! The melody is incredible. And it has an indescribable chorus, there’s even a part in French (Les yeux sans visage). Even though it’s sad and melancholic, it gives me an incredible sense of freedom and peace.

Yet another song hits you deep in the feels! Initially, the song opens with a melancholic feeling centered around a less-than-perfect relationship. Then halfway through, the tone switches. Unified with the electric guitar driving the energy, really drives the feelings home. The synths really drive home that classic 80s sound, making this a truly fantastic pick for this week!
