Around the HF World – Nyxia

Hi Helpers! Welcome back to a new edition of Around the HF World, the series where we explore Help Force’s members’ countries! In today’s post, I interviewed one of the Staff members, a really hard-working person, and that person is… Nyxia! We will find out more things about the United Kingdom from her. So, let’s discover her country!

The Country Interview

Hi Nyxia! Let’s start our journey by asking: What is your nationality? If you have more than one, please mention them.

I’m British

Very interesting! Can you share some traditions from the United Kingdom with us?

Hmm traditions? I’ve never like tea much to everyone’s shock lol but I used to love pancake day as a kid, I might partake in it again this year. Another interesting tradition is our obsession with queuing up for everything and it’s a subject we brits feel very passionate about haha

Wonderful traditions! What are some traditional UK foods?

I have very fond memories of eating fish and chips while sat on the sea wall and of course if you’re having fish and chips you MUST have a chip butty to go with it
There’s also the traditional Sunday roast – not really my thing but definitely a British tradition many partake in

Amazing! I have to try these if I ever get to visit the UK! Is there any place/places in the UK you recommend visiting?

There’s so many to choose from! Of course there’s London and all its historical buildings, museums and markets – being from London I personally enjoy visiting Camden markets – it’s always evolving and updating and you find some diverse shops there. One of my favourites to visit is Cyberdog which is set up like a rave with all its uv lights and music. Outside of London there’s also many cool places to visit such as the castles in Scotland and Wales as well as many coastal villages that seem like a snapshot of a different time

Interesting places to visit! Now, please rate your country in the three categories we discussed, using a scale of 1 to 10.

Hmm I’d say traditions 8/10 Food 10/10 and places to visit 10/10

Finally, would you recommend foreigners to visit the United Kingdom?

I absolutely recommend everyone to visit – there’s so much to see and do that there’s something for everyone!

This is all for today, folks! Thank you for reading this far in the post! Don’t forget to leave a like and a comment on who I should interview for Around the HF World. See you next time! 😀

The world is full of wonderful things you haven’t seen yet. Don’t ever give up on the chance to see them.
