Around the HF World – Enderlemon

Hello Helpers and welcome to a brand new series in Help Force, Around the HF World, done by GeoIonut and Aleksandr. In this series, we want to know more about the countries from where people from HF are. For the next interview, we have our ex-marshal and member of the Dynasty of the Help Force: Enderlemon. Let’s learn about her country!

GeoIonut: Hello

Aleks: Hi. How are you doing today?

Yes hi. i am doing pretty good, how about you two?

GeoIonut: Eh pretty good ig thx for asking

The Aleks World Interview

I am good, thanks for asking. Can we start by knowing from which country are you from, so we can know more about it?

well as you and most other people will already know, i am from the minecraft nether Netherlands :3

Wonderful. Can you describe some traditions that you like from there or some of them that are common?

well, we have a whole other holiday, that being sinterklaas (which coincidentally is being celebrated today!!) its kind of like the dutch version of christmas, a man called sinterklaas and his helpers (petes) come by all the houses to bring gifts. in the weeks leading up to today you can put your shoe in front of the fireplace and they might give you a gift too (if youve been nice) 😛

That’s quite nice! Do you have some favourite places in the Netherlands that you recommend to visit?

i mean it depends on what you like, for shopping i think Utrecht is a nice place to go, and for those who like nature id say de Hoge Veluwe, which is a really nice national park 🙂 ive seen wild deer and boars there

Such nice places to visit! Is there any national dutch food that is a ‘must to try’ if i want to visit the Netherlands?

yesyesyesyesyes absolutely, lemme give you a small but important list: stroopwafels: famous and delicious poffertjes: like mini pancakes but better frikandel: masterpiece frikandelbroodje: frikandel in a pastry, every students favorite thing kroket: idk how to explain it but its good tompouce: impossible to eat but if you manage its great stamppot: can be a lot of different types but the best is boerenkoolstamppot imo, mashed veggie and potato with sausage

So many food to try, yum! Now let’s do a little experiment. As a Dutch, how you would rate your country, based on the 3 topics I presented to you(traditions, places and food)?

traditions… 6/10 we dont have many anymore 🙁 places 7/10 some good places for sure food 10/10 its to die for

Amazing! Now the last question from my part of interview, what is your opinion on the Netherlands? Would you recommend foreigners to visit it or not? If yes, why?

i mean for me its obviously very different then itd be for anyone visiting, i just live in a small boring town lmao id say its worth a visit if you do research beforehand, its a small country so you can go a lot of places in a short time if you just go to like amsterdam or something though i dont think youll be very impressed, as the cities are not that special

Thank you for the answers. Now GeoIonut will give you a quite fun test about the three topics mentioned upwards.
