Hello Helpers! Welcome back to another edition of Food for Every Soul by myself, Mayathefirst! In this series I interview people from the Help Force about their favorite and famous recipes. For this post, I decided to interview the fearless, generous, kind, thoughtful, sensitive, friendly, calming and dedicated HF Commander: Wynn!
Welcome Wynn to the interview! Can you tell us what recipe you will talk about today?
Wynn: Almost too late 
Thank you! I don’t really cook for pleasure often, but sometimes I like to make quick little snacks to have something sweet to eat in the evening. My friends who never liked to cook either showed me a very easy shortbread cookies recipe, they are absolutely delicious!
Maya: Oo cookie recipe, who doesn’t like cookie recipes tho 
Wynn: What a shame staff can’t have them
Maya: I- but ur not commander anymore soo u could make them for us 
Wynn: Hey, I still have around 24h left!
Can you tell us why this recipe is important to you? Is it a family recipe, and is there any history or story behind it?
Wynn: No, it’s not a family recipe, it’s just something that my friend showed me. I remember I stayed at her new apartment for a night because we had some stuff to do together the next day, and she made those cookies, with peanut butter. They were one of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten! I regretted we meant to share them with others the next day so I couldn’t eat them all.
Here comes the best part, the Recipe! (As explained by Wynn)
Ingredients
» 50g sugar
» 120g of butter
» 160g of wheat flour
» 1 spoon of vanilla sugar
Steps
Do you have any tips or tricks on making it or why people may like this recipe, or any memories from it?
Wynn: I think it’s so simple it doesn’t need any tricks lol. You can put some peanut butter into the mixture if you like, or cover the balls of pastry with sugar.
Final question and I asked snowy this for her interview…
Can you tell us where do you keep the food for staff and why we don’t have buffets and offices ?
Wynn: There is no food for staff, so I don’t have a place to keep it 
You get a banana or some chicken wings once in a while, what else do you need? As per the offices, we had to turn spare rooms into additional pantries. When I was staff I wasn’t eating half as much as you all do now, and look where I am right now.
Maya: We want more food 
and what do these additional pantries hold then. True but ur commander and u guys get more food
Wynn: I think your second sentence answers your question here 
Maya: Wow so Wynn admits there’s food hidden 
Wynn: It’s not hidden, commanders eat it
Maya: Anyways, Thank you Wynn for doing this interview for us today and thank you for ur amazing service as our Commander! You will be missed
