Food for Every Soul

Hello Helpers! Welcome back to another edition of Food for Every Soul by myself, Mayathefirst! In this series I interview people from the Help Force about their favorite and famous recipes. For this one, I decided to interview our formal ally and now a member of Help Force, HF Sergeant Major: IceQueen!

Food for Every Soul » The Help Force

I started off by asking IceQueen some questions about the recipe she decided to share with us today!

Welcome IceQueen to the interview! Can you tell us what recipe you will talking about today?

IceQueen: It’s a recipe for a Tuna Pasta Bake, there’s an Asian twist to it with some spices and herbs used from my culture!

Can you tell us why this recipe is important to you? Is it a family recipe, and is there any history or story behind it?

IceQueen: It’s comfort food to me and is loved by our entire family <3

Here comes the best part, the recipe! (As explained by IceQueen!)

Steps:

  1. Boil pasta, while it’s boiling, cook the rest of the ingredients.

  2. Chop onions, peppers, tomatoes.

  3. Add in a pan your chosen pasta sauce from a jar.

  4. Add in the same pan: frozen garlic cube, tuna, onions, peppers, tomatoes, sweetcorn.

  5. Add chili, salt, coriander and stir.

  6. Drain your pasta and add it to the tuna mixture. Mix thoroughly.

  7. Pour a layer of pasta into an oven-proof dish. Sprinkle cheese.

  8. Add another layer of pasta and cheese.

  9. Cook in the oven for 10-15 mins until the cheese is golden-brown.

  10. Serve and Enjoy!

Can you tell us why this recipe is important to you? Is it a family recipe, and is there any history or story behind it?

IceQueen: Cooking everything in one pot lol which makes it super easy! (apart from the pasta which is initially boiled separately) This recipe has many memories attached to it as I used to often cook it when I lived in my university dorms with my friend as well, it just gives a homely feel 😁.

Do u have anything else to say to the readers for the ending?
IceQueen: Thank you for letting me share my recipe :tlwHeartsBlue: :elsa: :GlowHeart:
