What’s Happening?

Welcome to What’s been Happening?! Here, we will go through all the latest server updates for the week and of course, we can’t forget the casual HF Gossip! Let’s find out What’s been Happening!

Preparation for Battle and dominating our first battles of the month, we prepared with diverse ways! With multiple Events and numerous Segments, we prepared strongly and welcomed new amazing helpers! This week is a week of readiness!

Get ready for March Madness! This week is the beginning of preparation to the tournament in which Help Force will dominate!

Week In Short

Sunday, 28th of February 2021

Starting a day with reviving the week! A powerful [US] REVIVAL EVENT took place today with a max of 27+ and lead by Joe and Maya. We also had a very massive [INT] The Come Back Event lead by Nelly, Slushy, and Rooboo and with a great max of 49+, we enjoyed a lot and had a strong boost to start the week! As usual powerful Segments along the day!

Monday, 1st of March 2021

Happy March! Starting the month with a decent break but not a silent one; but one with fun Segments and games all along the day! We had fun Among Us rooms for the EU times hosted by Zenshira as we enjoyed fun talks in the chat!

Tuesday, 2nd of March 2021

Starting the day with a fun US Skribbl.IO time hosted by Joe, we had lots of fun! We also had a fun EU Skribbl.IO time hosted by Wynn along with great Segments through the day.

Wednesday, 3rd of March 2021

Wednesday yay way! Today we had really creative and productively-different stuff along the day! Beside great Segments, we had am EU Trivia Contest hosted by Nelly and an EU Scavenger Hunt in CPR hosted by Lyman and Rooboo! We also had a very fun EU VC Party in the middle of the day!

Thursday, 4th of March 2021

As we approach the weekend and the battle, we had to have coffee right? Having a massive [INT] HELPFORCE BUYS STARBUCKS event lead by Nell, Diwix, and Chloe and a max of 40+, we assure you that the best coffee is at Help Force. We clearly don’t get it from Starbucks.  This was our perfect preparation for the battle tomorrow! Segments as usual going strong and dominant.

Friday, 5th of March 2021

Friday yay day! As time passed; we approached the battle, segments kept going, and hype kept rising! We finally had our first battle in March and a very strong one…. Lead by Barnito, Nell, and Joe and a max of 36+, we finally had our [EU] Practice Battle vs Ice Warriors!

Saturday, 6th of March 2021

Today we we had an amazing [AUSIA] HELPFORCE BUYS PIZZA HUT lead by Wynn, Nelly, and Slushy and with a max of 36+! We truly had the best pizza ever! As usual Segments going through the day as we finally had our [US] Practice Battle vs SWAT lead by Barnito, Nell, Joe, and Maya which had a max of 28+! We finally had a week of preparation as we approach even more practice for the upcoming tournament!

GOTW Interview and Statement

HFI: Today is a very special Interview.. Someone who is new but seems forever with us, someone talented but yet hardworking, someone wonderful and beautiful but yet very very friendly and kind……. LYD! Pleasure to have u! How are you today?

Lydia: i’m good thank uuu how are you

HFI: Great to hear! I’m good knowing u are! Tell us more about you, your hobbies, your activities,…?

Lydia: i love nature and i own 4 horses, i ride them frequently. i also own 15 sheep along with some chickens, i love animals a lot and my favourite thing to do is to care for them. i also ski internationally and im hoping to represent the UK in larger competitions.. a favourite pastime is painting and drawing – which also lead to me joining the designers club on HF!

HFI: Wow what an interesting person you areee! I really like that a lot! Nature and animals.. what a gift! What do you like most about being in Help Force?

Lydia: i love how nice everyone is, everyone is so welcoming and inclusive. there are no cliques and everyone gets along really well

HFI: That is so true I can’t agree more! It’s a family and a very beautiful one.;) Since you got GOTW in less than a month being in Help Force and that’s a very short time! How did you figure it out and what made you go for it?

Lydia: i never planned to go for it, i was at the top of the leaderboard and lots of people began to DM me asking if i was going for it. from that i decided to go for it.. i didnt see the difficulty or importance of it until about halfway through the week!

HFI: That’s the beauty of it! To actually help not knowing ur being awarded! You truly deserve it… So how was the journey.. The stress of recruiting, the late nights, the early mornings,.. the competition?

Lydia: my biggest threat was volcano.. we were getting the same amount of recs per seg which made it really difficult to advance and get slightly ahead of her. on the saturday she overtook me and i lost hope.. however i persevered on the sunday and managed to advance by about 100 sapphires. i didnt stay up that much to be honest.. the latest i stayed up was 12AM for the US event so i could get an extra 500 sapphires

HFI: Wow! Volcano is no doubt a very very experienced recruiter and former GOTW! Truly hard competition and it was worth the hard-work against her! I’m really proud of your amazing work, for this is true dedication. What advice would you give to all the readers out there trying to aim for GOTW?

Lydia: i’d say dont give up.. even if it seems like you’ve lost the place it doesnt mean its over. just keep trying, recruit as much as you can and attend all the events!!

HFI: Woohoo and that’s it! It’s true dedication and never giving up! Thank you for your advice! Tell us more about your history with Club Penguin. Like when did you first play and what platform was it and were you ever familiar with armies before?

Lydia: i started playing on the OG club penguin when i was like 8… i’d always seen armies around but i was never involved with them – i didnt even understand what was happening most of the time. regardless i was still obsessed with the game and i did in fact collect all the puffle teddies because im very cool

HFI: Hahahahah wow! OG times i miss them for sure.;’) You are very cool hahah who doesn’t love puffles?! Hopes AO isn’t hearing us right now! That’s amazing. Ok can you tell us one last statement/Mini Speech about GOTW as all in all? Express GOTW in your own words.

Lydia: its certainly an honourable role.. people will identify that you’re a hard worker and dedicated and you certainly earn a lot of respect for it. i think that anyone can get it as long as you try and put the effort in – anything can be obtainable if you have the right mind set and try your best
