Why is this recipe important to you, is it a family recipe, or any history/story behind it?

Sophie: Ngl a big part of why I like it is because of how quick it is to make. This dish is important to me cause it reminds me of how while coming back home after going to the mall all of my family members would choose to eat this rather than going to a restaurant.

Next comes the best part the Recipe!!! (As told by Sophie)

» 3-4 samosas (homemade or store bought)

» In a wok, add sugar, chaat masala, cumin seeds, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, salt, red chilli powder, tablespoon water ,and mix well.

» Cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes and keep mixing in between.

» Let it cool. Can be stored in refrigerator for up to 1 month (always a plus point if you wanna make them again :hihi:) and Green Chutney .

Prepare Bhel Puri

» In a bowl, add murmury, tomatoes, onion, potatoes, fresh coriander, green chilli, paprika powder, salt, chaat masala, red chilli crushed, prepared special green chutney, lemon juice and mix well.

» Add nimco sev, mix well & set aside

» Fry store bought samosa and keep aside.

» On a serving plate, add samosa and break them with the help of the spoon

» Spread bhel on those crushed samosas and it’s ready to serve

Do you have any tips or tricks on making it or why people may like this recipe, or any memories from it ?

Sophie: Its quick, filling and one of the most flavorful dish you’ll ever eat :animehihi:. About the memories, hmm, so this one time when me and my father were making it, we by mistake put too much red chilli powder in the potatos and I remember watching my father completely in shock when he out of nowhere started washing it. He let the potatoes dry and put them in the dish. It was a tiny victory for both of us when not only did we save the dish but that was the best samosa bhel I ever had.

Amazing! Well, thank you again Sophie for sharing this yummy recipe with us!

Sophie: :luv: Your welcomee!
