Food for Every Soul

Hello Helpers! Welcome back finally to another edition of Food for Every Soul by myself, Mayathefirst! In this series I interview people from the Help Force about their favorite and famous recipes or drinks. For this one, its a Christmas Recipe even if the season is over, I had this pre-done and interviewed our HF Commodore: Insane!

I started off by asking Insane some questions about the recipe she decided to share with us today!

Welcome Insane to the interview! Can you tell us what Christmas Recipe you will talking about today?

Insane: A Christmas spin to mocktail drinks… A favourite of mine… the gingerbread mocktail

Gingerbread Martini Recipe

Can you tell us why this recipe is important to you? Is it a family recipe, and is there any history or story behind it?

Insane: My love for alcohol has made me research more and more delicious recipes although alcohol is nice by itself..its nice to spice it up a bit.

Here comes the best part, the Recipe! (As explained by Insane)

Directions

1.Toast some fresh ginger, cinnamon sticks, and whole allspice until fragrant (2mins)

2. Combine brown sugar and water. Heat for about 15-20 minutes until dissolved. Make sure to adjust heat to maintain low simmer

3. Add some sprinkles, brown sugar, and crushed gingerbread to decorate the top of the glass

Do you have any tips or tricks on making it or why people may like this recipe, or any memories from it?

Insane: If you’re lazy you can just buy the syrup. Shake 4 drinks at a time in a cocktail shaker, as there is no need to waste time shaking individual drinks. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas everyone!

Thank you Insane for this amazing Holiday Recipe!

With that, we’ve reached the end of the post. I know you wanted to read more XD but I will be back next time with more fresh and delicious content. If anyone would like to share a recipe with us, DM me with your ideas!

Bon Appetit! <3
