Hi Hope! Let’s start our journey by asking: What is your nationality? If you have more than one, please mention them.
Hey! I’m fully dutch! And i’m from the Netherlands!
Very interesting! Can you share some traditions from The Netherlands with us?
We have multiple very cool traditions! One of these is our way of celebrating Kingsday, which we do in a bright full orange outfit. When kingsday is close we turn our cities into one festive orange place!
WOW! Sounds beautiful!!! Like a big orange hehe. Care to share some traditional meals from the Netherlands?
We have many different kinds of food in the Netherlands but one of the most cozy and famous dishes is stamp pot! Stamp pot is basically a dish made with mashed potatoes with vegetables, fried gravy balls, and fresh herring.
I personally don’t like it but many people do!
OH YUM!! I love mash potatoes so much I’d probably love it! Is there any place you’d recommend to visit in particular in the Netherlands?
Definitely! I really recommend visiting Amsterdam because of it’s beautiful architecture and beautiful museum culture. I also really recommend visiting Scheveningen if you like beaches and going out!

Finally, would you recommend foreigners to visit The Netherlands?
Definitely! But I do warn, hotels are not the cheapest in the country.
