It’s that spooky time of year again, and Club Penguin Journey is haunted with Halloween critters and beings! But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our CP Journey Halloween Party Guide 2025 so you won’t get lost in the fog.

Personally, I love Halloween for its vibrant orange color scheme, it always wins my heart 🧡🧡! I also used to be a goth in my teenage years, but that’s a story for another time. 👀

Welp, enough about me, lets explore the quests get our items and figure out where and what should we be doing to make sure there is no fomo.

Now, let’s dive in, complete quests, grab all the spooky items, and make sure we don’t miss a single trick or treat. Helpers, get ready for a spooktacular adventure! 👻🎃

Head to the Forest and pick up the Happy Halloween Pin, located on the left side of the area.

3. The Band and Cadence Halloween Background 2025 Giveaway

At the beginning of every hour, there is a concert at the Iceberg. You just need to get there for the concert  and click on the band.

The Night of the Living Sled play is back at the Stage! 🛷 This spooky play comes with unique costumes so you can recreate the chilling horrors of the Sled and keep penguins shivering every Halloween!

There is also a Monster Maker Catalogue  and the Boiler Room Catalogue for crafting costumes, getting into character, and fully embracing the spooky vibe! 🎃👻

Night of the Living Sled Catalogue Secrets

So, my ghouls, on the first two pages, we’ve got some spooky secrets! 💀

You’ll find the Living Sled Costume hidden on the sled, the Ghost Costume hidden away on the top wire support, and a Flashlight hidden in the scientist’s glasses. 🔦

There is also a hidden Megaphone if you click on the Red Script Book.

Monster Maker Catalogue Secrets

This catalogue has three secret items:

Shadow Wings on the top curve of the “S,” Dino Horns hidden in the hole of the “R,” and Glowing Skeleton Paint on the top chest bone of the Skeleton Costume. 💀

Boiler Room Catalogue Secrets

Dark Maze Guide

To enter the maze, head to the Forest and follow the path on the left labeled “Dark Maze.” 🌲💀 Once you step inside, get ready for a musical puzzle.

Step 1: Solve the Musical Puzzle 🎹

As I warned you, to proceed, you’ll need to solve the musical puzzle. Make sure to wait for the steam geysers to finish revealing the sequence before you play it on the organ.

There are three rounds, and in each one, you’ll need to repeat the correct color sequence:

1. Pink → Blue → Orange → Pink
2. Pink → Orange → Blue → Pink → Green
3. Green → Pink → Orange → Blue → Pink → Pink

Follow the sequences carefully, and the steam geysers will sink back into the ground, revealing a clear path and unlocking the door ahead.

Get ready, it’s about to get very dark! If the darkness gives you chills, you can always equip your Night Vision Goggles from the PSA Agent Catalog to light the way.

Step 2: Grab a Lantern at the Dark Chamber

Once inside the Dark Chamber, it will be… well, dark. 💀 But don’t worry! Move slightly to the right to find the Storm Lantern. Equip it to help light your way through the maze.

If you’d like an even clearer view to see the entire room, you can also wear the Dark Vision Goggles from the PSA Agent Catalogue. You can even put them on before entering the chamber, totally up to you!

Step 3: Monster Room

Here, you just need to follow the path into the Monster Lab. Easy!

Step 4: Monster Lab

Welcome to the Monster Lab! 🧪 While you explore, collect the free item on the right, by the tree: The Swamp Monster.

You’ll also find the Monster Maker Catalogue, with all sorts of spooky outfits to create your perfect creature look. 👻

Hidden Candy Guide

This year introduces a new mechanic….or rather, the return of a familiar one! Remember the Elf on the Shelf hunt from the 2024 Christmas Party? It’s back, but with a Halloween vibe! 👻🍬

Each day, a piece of Candy is hidden somewhere on the island. Find it to unlock a new free item daily! If you miss a day, don’t worry as you can still collect previous candies and rewards. Candy won’t appear in rooms with access requirements (like the HQ, EPF Command Room, Ninja Hideout, or Fire Dojo).

Candies are always hidden indoors. 

Confirmed sitings:

Dojo, Ski Lodge, Ski Lodge Attic, Pizza Parlour, Boiler Room, Gift Shop Office, The Lookout (Tour HQ roof)

So here is what you can get from the candies:

Yeap at the moment just two items, but there will be more.

Party Quests for the CP Journey Halloween Party 2025

Welp, helpers, it’s time to earn some rubies for Captain Crimson, wherever he may appear! 🦜As usual, the quests are back, so let’s dive in and crack on with them!

Easy Quests

1. Find a hidden piece of candy!

Waddle around the island to find hidden candy each day! 🍬Fining one will complete the quest. More on cadies in our Hidden Candy Guide

2. Care for a pumpkin ruffle at the Puffle Park

Head to the Boiler Room and open the Boiler Room Catalogue  in the bottom-right corner. Click the Pumpkin Puffle to adopt and name it! 🎃

Then, Grab it from your igloo, then head to the Puffle Park (behind the Pet Shop) to interact with the food bowls and the trampoline! And that[‘s the quest done!

Go sled racing with a Living Toboggan

Go to Boiler room and purchase the Living Toboggan from the Boiler Room catalogue for 250 coins.

Waddle over to the Ski Hill with the Living Toboggan equipped on your player and challenge another penguin to a ski race. All done!

Praise the Orb, again

Head to the Boiler Room via the Dance Club speaker or the Underground Pool. Once inside, you’ll see a door beside the boiler on the left. Go through it to enter the Old Boiler Room! 🔥

Once inside, praise the orb by sending a heart emoji or press E + H. Easy, right?

Trick or Treat in all houses in the Snow Forts

Visit the Snow Forts and click all four house doors. They’ll creak open and the porch lights flicker on! 👻

Medium Quests

Hear a scary story at the Cove

Every 30–60 minutes, Rockhopper drops by the Cove for a quick scary story! 🏴‍☠️ Atten one of these stories.
The room fills fast, so it would be smart to be there early. You can also claim a background by clicking on him.

 This quest doesn’t award the Rockhopper stamp.

Rock out at the Iceberg concert

Every 30–60 minutes, the Penguin Band with Cadence performs a quick concert (check the stopwatch on the top-right).
Arrive early as the room fills fast! Attend the concert to earn a quest. You can also collect a background from the band by clicking on them.

This quest doesn’t award the Penguin Band or Candace stamps.

Dress up with 15 pizzas in the Parlour

Find 14 other penguins in the Pizza Parlor wearing only the Pizza costume to complete the quest! 🍕👻

You can wear the Black & White Pizza costume from the CPJ Style Catalogue October 2025 and the Extra Cheesy Pizza costume from CPJ Style Catalogue September 2025

Visit 5 Trick-or-Treat igloos

Head to the Welcome Room and spot penguins showing off their Trick-or-Treat igloos! 👻

A proper Trick-or-Treat igloo has three separate buildings with open doors. Visit 5 penguins with this igloo and the quest is complete! 🎃

Watch all Night of the Living Sled movies

Watch the full movie at each location. And no skipping or tabbing out, or it won’t count!

 1. Coffee Shop. Start here and watch the first movie all the way through.

2.Dance Lounge. Move here for the second full movie.

3.Lighthouse. Finish with the third movie at the Lighthouse.

Stay in each room until the movie ends to make sure it registers!

Transform into a ghost

Hard Quests

Match at least 4 items with someone in the Lighthouse

Grab a friend or a random unsuspecting penguin and start matching clothing items! 
You’ll both need to wear at least four matching items. I snuck up on one watching a movie and copied his outfit while he wasn’t looking, hehe! 🎬💀

Light up the Beacon with 20 penguins in ghost costumes

Head to The Beacon, wear only your Ghost costume, grab the matching Flashlight, and press D to dance with 20 other penguins.

You must pair it like this: Yellow Flashlight → White Ghost, LED Flashlight → Black Ghost.

Make a monster using the catalog in the Lab

Extreme Quests

Go swimming in the slime pool with 25 floaty ducks

If you do not have a floaty – you can buy one at the Boiler Room Catalogue.

One you have one, head to The  Undrground Pool wearing only a Ducky Floaty  and dance to swim with 24 other penguins! 🦆💦

The animation can be bugged so don’t worry, you are swimming.

Use Ghoul Detectors with 30 penguins in the Forest

If yoou do not have the ghoGrab the Ghoul Detector 3000 (350 coins) and Ghoul Detector Jumpsuit (450 coins) from the Penguins at Work page in the October Penguin Style Catalogue. 👻🛍️

Once you hav ethe costume, head to The Forest, wear only these items, and dance with 29 other penguins! 💀🕺

The Quest Prize

Stamps

At Sea

For this stamp, you’ll need to sail away from the island! ⚓

Head to the Beach and board the ship. Wait for it to depart, once the animation finishes, you can disembark at the island to earn the stamp.

Explorer Stamp

Visit all the decorated rooms around the island. This one’s tough as every single room is decorated, and I really do mean every room! 😅

Start your adventure in the Welcome Room, then make your way through Town and the Plaza, exploring nearby spots like the Coffee Shop, Gift Shop (and its Office), Pizza Parlor, and Pet Shop. From there, head into the Forest and visit the Haunted House Entrance and Haunted House, then explore the Dark Swamp and Dark Chamber. Next, make your way to the Beach, Dock, and Cove, continuing to the Ice Pond, Iceberg, and Lighthouse. After the waterfront, move through the Ski Village, Ski Lodge, and Ski Hill, finishing the snowy area at the Snow Forts. For events, check out the Stage, the Halloween Party 2025 Iceberg (active), Dance Club, and Dance Lounge. Then venture into the Mine and Mine Shack, the Boiler Room and Old Boiler Room, and explore the Monster Room and Monster Maker Lab. Continue to the Dojo Courtyard, Dojo, Fire Dojo, and Ninja Hideout, followed by the EPF Command Room, Steamboat, The Lookout, Tour HQ, Recycling Plant, and Stadium. Finally, finish your route at the Book Room, Lodge Attic, and any remaining Dialogue interactions. This path flows naturally, covering shops, haunted areas, water and ice zones, snow, parties, adventures, dojos, and special locations in a logical order.

Monster Smash

For this stamp, just wear a monster outfit during this Halloween Party!
You can wear it anywhere on the island! 👻 This is the only party where you can earn this one until next year, so go all out and dress up for the spooks! 🎃🕸️

Party Puzzle

Solve the organ puzzle and open the door at the Dark Swamp for the stamp. See the Dark Maze Guide section of our guide for more information.

Music Maestro

You will also get the Music Maestro stamp for completing the organ puzzle at the Dark Swamp.

Ultimate Fan

For this stamp, simply attend the Penguin Band + Cadence Halloween Party 2025 Concert at the Iceberg! 🎵🎃

The show takes place every hour on the hour, so make sure to be there a biut early to beath the crowd. Woo! 🕐✨

Mascot Stamps – Gary and Rockhopper

 

Our favourite Halloween-loving scientist, Gary the Gadget Guy, will be returning to the island with Rockhopper, our favourite Pirate Penguin.

There are no official visiting times, but we track all mascot sightings on our Discord server! Join us to get real-time notifications on when Rockhopper or/and  Gary is online and where to find them.

Conclusion

Guys, I love Halloween! 🎃 It might not be widely celebrated in Lithuania, but here in the UK (and of course on Club Penguin Island) it’s a big deal.

I’m so happy the Haunted Mansion is back too! 🏚️ It’s actually my favourite room as it’s very fun ans spooky. I also love that my favourite music is back too – it’s the Cave Of Creeps And Clarinets by Chris Hendricks. Woul love to meet the guy one day too.
