“The Dishes”

Manti and Snowy had just finished dinner, and as usual, the sink was overflowing with dirty dishes. Snowy looked at Manti, expecting him to jump in and start washing them.

But Manti just sat there, scrolling through his phone. Snowy couldn’t take it anymore and said, “Manti, it’s your turn to wash the dishes. You haven’t done it all week.”

Manti rolled his eyes, “I did it last night, Snowy. Don’t you remember?”

Snowy scoffed, “What do you mean, I did it last night! It’s your turn.”

Manti grumbled, “Fine, but you have to dry and put them away.”

Snowy nodded, and Manti reluctantly got up to start washing the dishes. But as he scrubbed a particularly stubborn pot, he grumbled, “Why do we have to wash so many dishes anyway? Can’t we just use paper plates?”

Snowy shook her head, “No way, Manti. I’m not going to spend MY money on some paper plates because of your laziness.”

Manti replied, “But it’s such a hassle to wash them all. Can’t we just get a dishwasher?”

Snowy laughed, “We don’t have space for a dishwasher, Manti. And besides, washing dishes is good for your hands and arms.”

Manti rolled his eyes, “I don’t care about that. I just want to relax after dinner and play some games.”

Snowy replied, “You can relax once we’re done. Besides, it’s not like I enjoy washing dishes either.”

Manti stated, “Then we are not eating in the house anymore, only restaurants.”

Snowy sighed, “Manti for the last time, I won’t be-”

Manti quickly interrupted Snowy, “You can choose the restaurants…”

Snowy grinned, “We have a deal.”
