• Party Time! As usual, we bring to you a huge party on Sunday in the form of the New Year Bonanza! Check the server for more info.
• Pirates Themed CPR Party Coming Soon! The CPR Team has announced that the next party will be pirate themed.
• End Of The Year Awards Winners! The winners of the End Of The Year Awards were announced in the Gala ceremony last Sunday.
• GOTW! The New Gamer Of The Week (GOTW) will be announced today!
• AUSIA FOREVER! The AUSIA Division performed exquisitely well this week, great job!

Donator Of The Week

Each week, one of our lovely Donators will be featured in a special interview in this section of the Beacon! Today we have with us Janez. He is the creator of the Pavle bot that we use as our main bot in the server! Janez is also an ex staff member, and the creator of the Help Force’s custom CPPS called “HF Island”. Let’s see what he has to say to us today.

What made you decide to donate money to our glorious gracious motherland?

I decided to chip in, because it’s the least I can do for such an amazing community. And because I love to help out whenever I can.

What motivated you to create and keep maintaining and updating Pavle? 

When I got asked to make a new bot for HF, I was really excited and really scared. I always wanted to make a Discord bot, but never really gotten to the point of actually making one. I didn’t even know the programming language needed to write it in. That was a great opportunity to learn and do something crteative.
The best feeling I get is when I make a new command and people love using it. Not necessarily one that is part of the sapphire system, but something completely unnecessary like HG. When I get ideas like that, and then try making them a reality, and THEN they actually work… best motivation ever.

What motivated you to create HF Island? 

It all started as a joke between staff members about a HF only CPPS. Jayden actually got to the point of making one in CPPS creator (if I am not mistaken).
I loved the idea, but hated the fact how limiting it was. And so to keep the long story short, I looked for an alternative solution and that was HF Island.

Is Pavle the cat or the roomba? 

Everyone thinks it’s a cat, but he’s actually a roomba. It’s a roBOT after all.
