Heyyy Helpers!!! Welcome back to another edition of Food for Every Soul, a series by myself where I interview people from Help Force about their favorite and famous recipes! For this post, I decided to interview an talented, hard working, perseverant, friendly HF Commodore: Annie!!! 

I started off by asking her some questions about this delicious recipe!


Hey Annie! Thank you for me letting me interview you today! Can you tell us what type of recipe you will be telling us about today?

Annie: We’ll be talking about a bourbon cake today! This cake is made in a Microwave!

Why is this recipe important to you, is it a family recipe or any history/story behind it?

Annie: This recipe is important to me because my brother, told me about this recipe, and when i tried it out, it made the best cake ive EVER tasted!!


and now comes the best part, the Recipe!!! (As explained in detail by Annie)

Ingredients

» An aluminum pan

» 5 bourbon biscuit packets (take or remove according to your wish!)

» 1 and a half eno packet

» 1 and a half glass of milk

 

Bourbon Cake

Preheat the microwave to 180° before starting!

– Take 5 bourbon biscuit packets, and turn them into powder by a blender

– Now remove them into a bowl and add milk until you get a thick paste

– Then add 2 eno packets if you put more than 5 bourbon biscuit packets, 1 and a half if you put 3-5 packets, and 1 packet you put less than three bourbon biscuit packets. Mix the batter in one direction after you add eno! or it wont turn out as good!

– Grease your aluminum pan, and put the batter into it

– Now after your microwave is pre heated put your pan into the microwave and press convection, this is the most important part cause if you forget to press the convection button, your cake would BURN!

– Press convection and put the timer to 20 minutes, after its over, check if your cake is done or not, with a knife, and if not, put another five minutes and then check again, do this until you cake is ready!

– Now you can decorate the cake according to your wish haha!
