Don’t you love the warm breeze of April? The morning sun, butterflies, and the jokes that just don’t stop! Seriously….they don’t. But, that also means it’s time for CP Journey April Fool’s Party Guide 2026!
Whether you’re a prankster or the pranked, you’ll enjoy what the devs have brought this time. This party has everything you could ask for: free items, stamps, and, of course, mascots!
So come along, we’ll help you navigate through the return of the Box Maze and all of the quests.

Free Items
1. Fork Pin
This year’s party pin. Grab it at the Pizza Parlor. You’ll get the Quest once you do!
2. Bottle of Cream Soda Pin
This one’s quite tricky to get, as some might remember last year’s.
But the easiest way to get it, is to always go through the barrel you just came out of. Repeat it until you find yourself at the other end besides the caged pin.
3. Beta Propeller Cap
Right when you join the Welcome Room, on your right side you can see the beta party hats! …or are they? It’s just the Beta Propeller Cap. Close enough
4. Purple Propeller Hat
Not enough propeller hats? Go to the Plaza to grab another one! This one’s purple.
5. Piffle
I have no explanation or caption for this. It’s a Piffle. Get it at the Pet Store.
…yeah.
6. Delivery Hat and Delivery Outfit
If you go to the Box Dimension, and follow the portal with the Moai, you’ll be taken to the Strange Dimension. If you click on the locker at the bottom right, you should be able to claim both the Delivery Hat and Outfit.
7. Todd’s Giveaway Background
The man himself, you can meet him at the Book Room and get his stamp anytime, just click on him. He won’t bite. Hopefully.
8. Duckie Background
Head to the Disco Lounge to grab this background. Click on Rookie’s green rubber duck and you’ll get it.
Paid Items
1. Wacky Items Chest
Located at the bottom left corner only at the box dimension you have the Wacky Items Chest.
Bunch of stuff to buy! Make sure to buy the Kazoo for the quest that requires it! Also the googly eyes make a so-requested comeback.
The jacket at the right gives a popup that Rookie left it there by accident, and should be available on this month’s catalogue. Now that’s ominous.
Transformations
For this year’s April Fool’s Day we’ve got a new scavenger hunt. Everyone was asking for penguin’s transformations… so they gave us 14 to choose!
Rookie explains it once you login, but there’s a hidden transformation in some rooms. You need to look out for objects that seem to pop out!
So here is every room where you can find each transformation.
1. Bread Penguin
At the ski hill, there’s a bag of bread contemplating the view.
2. Round Penguin
In the (New) Old Boiler Room, you should easily spot the orb. To enter this room just click on the boiler in the (common, and upside-down) Boiler Room.
3. Box Penguin
At the entrance of the box dimension, at the right of the main portal.
4. Melting Penguin
At the Tour HQ, you can see the radioactive bottle behind the desk.
5. Spring Penguin
This one’s tricky to see. At the night club you can barely spot the spring behind the speaker, on the DJ’s booth.
6. Rubber Penguin
At the Dance Lounge, click on the rubber duck on top of astro barrier.
7. Puffle Penguin
In the forest, you can spot a Puffle O’ on the left side.
8. 16-bit Penguin
At the beach, you can clearly see this low-poly fish.
9. Flat Penguin
On the lookout, the room upstairs of the Tour HQ, you can spot the anvil.
10. Long-nose Penguin
Don’t be intimidated by the legend standing there. Click on the propeller hat on the lamp.
11. Bottle Penguin
This one took me a long time to spot. At the hidden lake (beneath the forest), you can barely see the empty bottle floating.
12. Flower Penguin
Behind the Ski’s Lodge, on the Pond, you can spot a flower pot beside the tree.
13. Car Penguin
In the gift shop, there’s a steering wheel behind the counter.
14. Baby Penguin
And the last one. At the docks you can easily spot the feeding bottle.
Quests
Todd threw the biggest prank, making silly quests! Captain Crimson requires rubies for his special treats, so come along as we dive into this party’s quests!
As usual, the quests are back, but this time they gave descriptions with each one! That’s a relief…
Easy quests
1. Bread by the Oven
“Sit beside the Pizza Parlor Oven transformed as Bread for 30 seconds”
As the description suggests, just sit for 30 seconds besides the Oven.
2. Go to the mine, it’s a morality test
“Visit the Mine, nothing else”
Just visit the Mine, and NOTHING else. Don’t commit the same crime I did…
Seriously, it doesn’t come back.
3. “Quack”
“E+T (toot) as a duck”
Once you get the duck transformation at the Dance Lounge, transform into it and press E+T, that’s it.
4. Park your puffle
“Sit in the Puffle Park with a puffle”
Pretty straight forward, just take any of your preferred puffles, and sit anywhere in the Puffle Park.
5. Watch a puffle complete a level of Thin Ice
“Wait for the animation to finish one cycle in the Dance Club”
Don’t get impatient, it takes a minute for the puffle to finish. It’s trying its best, alright?
6. Cosplay as Todd and meet Todd
“Wear Red and nothing else in the Book Room”
We twins now
7. Swim in the Pond as a Duck
“Swim in the Pond as a Duck”
The pond’s the room behind the Ski Lodge, where you go fishing. Just walk around the water a little bit and you’ll get it.
8. Advertise your Igloo at the Dock
“Wear either the ‘Like my Igloo’ sign or face paint and perform its special dance”
If you don’t have the Like my Igloo face paint, you can get it on every month’s catalogue as a hidden item! Currently it’s on the puffle’s paint brush tip, on the “Create your hoodie” page.
Medium Quests
1. Me and my pals, loafin’ around
“Loaf around in the Coffee Shop with 15 penguins”
Once you get the Bread transformation, head to the Coffee Shop!
2. BOOO DID I SCARE YOU?
“Jumpscare a quite room with a Kazoo”
Get the Kazoo from the Box dimension shop, and head to any room where no one’s talking (or where there’s no music, idk help me out guys i got it randomly), and wave with ONLY the kazoo equipped!
3. Fork found in where?
“Find the Party Pin”
As you saw earlier, this Party Pin’s at the Pizza Parlor. Pick it up and you’re ready to go.
4. Lose connection, just kidding
“Interact with the Recycling Plant fake disconnect”
Walk into the Recycling Plant at the Mine Entrance and you’ll get the joke pop-up, just click okay and you’ll get the quest.
Hard Quests
1. Is that a pun?
“Tell the FSH joke in the Cove”
This one’s the hardest in my opinion. Go into the Cove and press J on your keyboard to tell a joke. The thing is… the FSH joke’s completely random, and it might take you a long time until you get it, worst of all there’s a cooldown to tell a joke, so you have to wait until you can tell another joke… Good luck.
2. Oh no, the Purple Puffle is hungry!
“Feed a Purple Puffle at the park, or see one get fed”
This one’s pretty strange, but aight. If you got one, just go and stand at the feeding tables at the Puffle Park, but if you don’t, just wait for someone to show up and do so.
3. Rolling with my friends
“Roll at the rink with 20 spherical penguins”
Once you get the round transformation, change into it at the stadium/ice rink, and wait for others to join.
4. Complete a Puzzle in the Box Maze
“Get either the Sweet Sunhat, The Handyman or Donut Destroyer”
Follow our Box Maze Guide to solve any of the puzzles and get any of those items.
5. Transformaniacs
“Transform alongside others and fill the Lookout with 12 unique transformations”
Get any of the transformations from our guide, change into it and join the others at the lookout, the room upstairs from the Tour HQ. Make sure you’re not repeating any transformation that someone else has.
6. “Hey can you take a look at this box?”
“Visit the Box Dimension from another penguin’s igloo”
There’s a lot of people at the Welcome Room advertising theirs, so visit anyone and look for that purple portal box!
Extreme Quests
1. Explosions!!!
“Fill up your transformations box”
Follow our Transformations to get them all!
2. Together we are strong box
“Become a box with 40 penguins in the Box Maze”
Once you get the
Transformations
from our guide, head onto the Box Maze. That’s a lot of boxes if I’m being honest.
3. Pookie Party!?
“Gather 35 Baby Penguins in the Pet Shop”
Once you get the Baby transformation, head to the Pet Shop, and hope there’s more pookies around.
The Quest Prize
If you get all quests, you’ll receive the April Fools 2026 Quest Prize!

Box Maze
This year marks the return of the classic box maze. It has the same layout and most of the same free items as last year’s, but some of them are just a recolor of the previous item.
1. Box Plant
Free of charge!
…..Okay maybe they’re priced at 100 coins per box, for a maximum of 99 total boxes. Definitely a piece of furniture that’ll spice up your living space.
2. Decaff Coffee
Just to the left of the waterfall at the coffee station.
3. Box Costume
Near the waterfall in the top right.
4. Box Hat
Bottom left of the map.
5. Box Shoes
Bottom center of the map, take the big slide at the top left to grab them!
6. The Handyman
The Handyman is at the bottom of the map with a portal box puzzle. It looks complicated, but worry not, it’s quite simple with our guide.
7. Sweet Sun Hat
To get the Sweet Sun Hat you need to step on the dice numbers on the floor in order, if you step on any other number you’ll have to start again.
8. Donut Destroyer Helmet
To get the Donut Destroyer you need to find and throw a snowball at all six targets. Once you hit the first one, it flies away and you need to find it again and repeat the process.

What a wonderful April Fool’s party we got this year.
As always, every room is filled to the brim with jokes and details, and some rooms surprised me on how good they look! Like the Coffee Shop and the Pizza Parlor! I wonder how they managed to get such textures…
