Journeyscape Guide

Also, they brought back from last year a Minigame… with minigames. it’s called Journeyscape.

To play Journeyscape, head to the Dance Club, go up the stairs to the Dance Lounge, then hover your mouse over the Orb to reveal a box with a portal. Yeah, that’s the one you want!

Journeyscape Rules

In this mini-game, you have to rotate a wheel to collect Game Points by moving through rooms and playing minigames. Use Game points to buy items from mascot shops. You have 5 lives (hearts) if you lose them all – the game ends.

Spin to move or earn points:

1, 2, 3 = Move forward that many spaces
+1, +2 = Gain points
-1 = Lose 1 point
X = Move 1 space back
? = Random outcome, doubled

You can land on various types of spaces:

Blank Block Blank No effect.
Coin Block Coin Gives 50-99 coins
Mini-Game Block Mini-Game Play random minigame. (Pizza Oven, Catchin’ Waves, Smoothie Smash, Ice Fishing or
Cart Surfer)
Shop Bag Block Shop When you land on this tile, Aunt Arctic, Rockhopper, or Jet Pack Guy will appear. You can spend your game points at their shop. New items appear after you buy something.
Plus Block Plus +1 to +3 tokens
Minus Block Minus -1 to -3 tokens
Broken Heart Block Broken Heart Lose 1 life, you have 5 in total. If you lose them all it’s game over.
Right Block
Left Block
Down Block
Up Block
Arrow You get teleported to a new room.

Thank you to CPJWiki for the table.

Journeyscape Tactics

The gameplay is fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

There’s also nothing stopping you from restarting the game if your hearts are getting low and you’ve already spent most of your coins. There’s no real benefit to sticking with a single playthrough (aside from the adrenaline). Bad luck can easily knock you out later on. If you’re sitting on loads of coins that will hurt you ona personal level. So don’t hoard more than you need. Spend them in the shop on the items you’re actually after.

You can collect and spend points strategically, and rerolling is a useful tactic to avoid losing a heart or getting stuck in a mini-game that takes too long. Skipping a game costs a life, but if you know you’re not going to perform well, it’s often worth skipping the suffering. Take the L, as the kids might say.

You can also earn extra Game Points by scoring well in mini-games. That’s how I managed to get 8–9 Game Points from games like Cart Surfer and Smoothie Smash. You can find the Table in the next secion with a detailed point conversion.

Journeyscape Minigames Rewards

Minigame Goal Points Reward
Pizza Oven Score at least 100 50 points = 1 Point
Smoothie Smash Score at least 1000 500 points = 1 Point
Ice Fishing Score at least 1000 500 points = 1 Point
Cart Surfer Score at least 1500 500 points = 1 Point
Catchin’ Waves Score at least 2000 750 points = 1 Point

Journeyscape Shop Block

When you land on a Shop Bag block, they can buy items from mascots using Game Points. Each mascot offers three treasure chests:

Bronze – 5 Game Points
Silver – 10 Game Points
Gold – 15 Game Points

Prizes change with each visit. If you’ve already won all prizes at a chest’s price, you instead get coins: 100 for bronze/cardboard, 250 for silver, or 500 for gold.

Mascot chest availability:

Rookie – Cardboard (5) only
Rory – bronze (5), silver (10), and gold (15) Toolboxes
Cadence – Gold (15) Turntables Only

Rory is the most versatilein terms of buying items as you can see.

Journeyscape Rewards

5 Points

Rockhopper and Rookie are the mascots that ONLY offer these items as part of the bronze chest rewards, so if you are after thee items, look for shop block. Aunt Arctic and Rory offer these items too.

For 5 points, you can get items such as the Black Leather Belt, Elephant Stuffie, Newspaper, Starry Sunseat Couch (which can be collected multiple times actually, so get those couches!), and the Yellow Hawaiian Shirt.

10 Points

Aunt Arctic and Rory are the mascots that only offer these items in their silver chest.

You can collect items like the ‘Dot Approved’ Sash, Glass of Cream Soda, Pilot Stuffie, Pink Hard Hat, Scientist Stuffie, and the Shadow Submarine Suit.

Pink Hard Hat is very cute and if you are a girlie like me, you have to get it!

Sorry, but Dot Approves Sash is OP and that’s what I’ll be wearing with pride.

15 Points

Jet Pack Guy and Cadence are the only mascots who offer these items in their gold chests. You can collect the Bling Bling Necklace, Beta Puffle Stuffie, Experimental Penguin Transformation, Gary’s Shirt + Tie, and the Stuntpenguin Suit.

These gold chests are the top-tier rewards in Journeyscape. And will hurt your in-game point balance the most. 😐

New Game: Jigsaw Jam

This is basically a game of pitting Jigsaw Puzzles together.

Players choose a difficulty level, with easy having fewer pieces and difficult having more. They drag and rotate pieces to complete the puzzle, using the preview image in the bottom-left for help. Fitting pieces together also awards coins and you are timed on how long you take to finish the puzzle.

As you can see, it’s a very easy-to-understand gameplay. You even get to preview an image on the left-hand side so you know what you are putting together. So yeah, jigsaw!

It is a new permanent game that can be played at the Lookout, Rooftop of the Tour HQ.

Secret Stamp

Well folks, we thought we might be getting a brand-new secret agent badge… but surprise! It’s actually a treasure hunt for PSA agents a.k.a. secret agents. You can join at any time as there’s no age requirement for your penguin.

How to become a secret agent?

If you want to become a PSA Agent, click the “M” on the Coat of Arms. When it opens, click the “M” again to reveal the PSA Suitability Quiz.

Here are the answers for the Quiz:

Pick one quality that you think a secret agent should have. Honest
Pick the correct reason to report a penguin to a moderator. Being mean or rude
What would you do if you saw a penguin breaking the rules? Report them
Which type of personal information should be reported? Saying their address
Pick one reason why you want to be a Secret Agent. I want to keep Club Penguin safe
Pick another reason why you want to be a Secret Agent. I want to help out other penguins

EPF Scavenger Hunt

Once you log in, Secret Agents will receive a message directing them to head straight to the HQ. To do that use your Spyphone and press “Visit HQ”. Once inside, press on Rookie to start the treausre hunt.

He will then say he wants to get 5 items to fix the glitchy TourBots. He needs a small speaker, something to clean the insides of robots, a microphone, a replacement pole and …. a friend!

Yeap, that’s just five items.

If you ever forget what you need, press this icon to see the clues.

1. A small Portable Speaker is in the Lighthouse.

If you are having issues accessing it, press the semicolon (;) to hide the interface. And that’s our first item!

2. A Gentle Cleaning Device is a broom at the Dojo Courtyard.

Has it always been there? It’s so close to the door that it’s a tripping hazard. Thankfully, we need so it is not an issue.

3. A Spare Microphone is at the Pizza Parlour.

I mean, I question how spare it is with a piano right there, but I guess no one is using it at the moment. Hope they don’t end up cancelling a gig because of us.

4. A Sturdy, pole-like object is a bamboo shoot at the Dock.

There are loads of these bamboos, but we want that one on the right by the blue arrow. I guess that is the sturdiest one!

5. A solid, trustworthy friend is the “Rock of the Year” at the Puffle Shop!

Just like penguin’s best friend, the best friend for the TourBots is also at the Puffle Shop. I guess it will be a long-lasting friendship, as it’s a rock.

That’s all the items! Let’s head back to the HQ and speak to Rookie.

He is so surprised how inventive we are, and I am also so surprised.

And get the reward for all the trouble – A rescue Off-Roader!

Wee, now I can feel like a mum in a big jeep picking her kids up from school… or saving the penguin island. Yeah, that’s the one.

And that’s it for the Treasure Hunt! Nice and Easy.

Conclusion

That wraps up our CP Journey 3rd Anniversary Party Guide 2026! Puffles, Trivia and Journeyscape is back, and they’ve also added an entirely new game, Jigsaw Jam – omg, yes!

The Invite Tower is finally smokeless and glitch-free, which makes exploring much more rewarding. While it’s great to revisit familiar rooms, I especially loved the little nods to the old Club Penguin, like finding the bracelet on the last page of the Yearbook. I also appreciated that the mascot convention wasn’t included this time….honestly, it wasn’t really my thing before.

As usual, thank you CPJ mods for cooking up yet another great party!

Happy 3rd Anniversary, and see you around teh island, helpers! 🎉🐧

Don’t leave yet!

Well since the CPJ Infinite Tower is back in the Snow Forts, why not check out my guide CPJ Infinite Tower Guide?

Oh, and did I mention there are free items to collect while you play? If not…well, now you know! The tower is not only rewarding but also super fun, with simple yet satisfying mechanics.

Honestly, why are you still reading this? Go climb the Infinite Tower already! 😑
