If two players fail to report their results within 12 hours and don’t provide a valid reason, the tournament forfeits their game and grants a bye to their next opponent.

In case of any disputes or issues regarding completing the game within 12 hours, DM @dav.206 to resolve the issue or come up with some extra provision.

Guide to Showdown (Making Teams)

How to Make a Custom Team in Pokémon Showdown (National Dex)
Step 1 – Go to the Teambuilder
Open Pokémon Showdown. https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/

On the left menu, click Teambuilder.

Click New Team.

Step 2 – Pick Your Format
At the top, click the Format box.

Scroll and select:
National Dex → (pick National Dex OU, AG, or other depending on your rules).

This ensures all allowed Pokémon, Megas, Z-Moves, and moves are available.

Step 3 – Add Your Pokémon
Click an empty slot (“Add Pokémon”).

Type the Pokémon’s name (e.g., Garchomp, Tapu Koko).

If you want a Mega Evolution, select the Mega version from the dropdown.

Step 4 – Set Your Moves
Under Moves, click each slot to pick a move.

You can search moves by typing their name.

Make sure to cover different roles — some for offense, some for support.

Step 5 – Choose Items, Abilities & EVs
Item – Choose things like Leftovers, Choice Scarf, Mega Stones, Z-Crystals.

Ability – Pick the one that works best for your strategy.

EVs/Nature – Adjust stats for speed, power, or bulk.

Example: Timid (+Speed, -Attack) for a fast special attacker.

Step 6 – Add the Rest of Your Team
Repeat Steps 3–5 until you have 6 Pokémon.

Try to balance:

Physical attackers

Special attackers

A defensive wall

Hazard setter/remover

Speed control

Step 7 – Save & Test
Click Validate to check if your team is legal in National Dex.

Hit Save.

Go to Battle → pick your team → test it out.

💡 Extra Tips for Beginners

Don’t use all legendaries — synergy matters more than raw power.

Have at least 1 Pokémon with Stealth Rock or Spikes.

Always bring something to deal with setup sweepers (e.g., priority moves, status).

Code of Conduct

All games need to follow HF rules and code of conduct.

Tournament rules prohibit engine and computer assistance.

You can play games outside your tournament matchups as long as you complete your current tournament game. Do not stall the tournament.

Good luck at the tournament!
