Hello Helpers! Welcome back to another edition of Food/Drink for Every Soul by myself, Mayathefirst! In this series I interview people from the Help Force about their favorite and famous recipes. For this post, I decided to interview the dedicated, hard working, passionate, and og 2ic now HF Dynasty: Scorp!

I started off by asking Scorp some questions about the recipe he decided to share with us today! I was not forced to do this interview 

Welcome Scorp to the interview! Can you tell us what recipe you will talk about today?

Scorp: HELLO MAYA! Today I will be talking about my exquisite coffee making process that recently got me banned from a server and also got me a custom role in another one!

Can you tell us why this recipe is important to you? Is it a family recipe, and is there any history or story behind it?

Scorp: It’s not a family recipe, I in fact came up with this recipe all by myself as an ignorant first time coffee drinker. I was drinking it with the hopes of it helping me stay awake to study, didn’t know I’d just end up developing an addiction for it instead. I live in a family of 4 people, extensive family of 30+ close cousins and 100+ irrelevant ones (we could form our own major army, bigger than anything SWAT could achieve in their lifetime) and yet I’m the only one who drinks coffee over tea.

Here comes the best part, the Recipe! (As explained in detail by Scorp in a interesting detail)

Scorp’s Coffee

1. Argue with your usually overspending dad to get money for a medium sized bottle of pure coffee (minimal chicory preferably none). It is important that you choose medium sized because apparently large sized ones go bad quickly (or it’s just a myth my dad made up to avoid spending too much money on coffee)

2. Take a large mug, cuz drinking coffee (even espresso) from those dainty little white cups is weak

3. You barely got money for the powder, you definitely ain’t getting money for proper coffee strainer things. Use a normal filter and put your preferred amount of coffee in it. I usually put a minimum of 3 spoons

4. Pour enough hot water (not boiling) to fill 1/3rd of the cup

5. Put some sugar, not more than a spoonful

6. Get a hand blender mixer tool of some sort and mix the coffee until you see a foam forming. Don’t mix too much or you’ll have too much foam. If you don’t have a tool use a spoon but results vary. Warning, you might make your hand fall out of its socket trying to produce foam with a spoon

7. Pour enough milk to fill the large cup, or even lesser milk if you’re craving a strong taste

8. Mix like a maniac once again

9. Annoy your coffee hating sister by purposely standing close to her and letting the aroma reach her nostrils, once she yells at you for being an idiot it’s time to drink the coffee
