Food for Every Soul

Hello Helpers!!! Welcome back to another edition of Food for Every Soul, a series by myself where I interview people from Help Force about their favorite and famous recipes! For this post, I decided to interview an energetic, helpful, friendly, funny HF Dynasty/Captain Komal!

I started off by asking them some questions about this delicious recipe!

Hi Komal! Thank you for me letting me interview you today! Can you tell us what type of recipe you will be talking about today?

Komal: hiii im going to be making a very simple scrambled eggs recipe with a twist 😀

Why is this recipe important to you, is it a family recipe or any history/story behind it?

Komal: This recipe is important because, well, i hate cooking, to say the least. I also struggle to eat breakfast and I tend to eat a lot of junk because i don’t know how to cook that well. I came up with my own recipe for scrambled eggs cause I needed something that tasted really good to look forward to eating in the mornings, and that’s that!

Here comes the best part, the Recipe!!! (As described in detail by Komal)

This recipe serves 2 people, or 1 if you’re super hungry:

Ingredients:

» 3 eggs

» 4 green onions

» 1 small tomato

» 1/2 avocado

» 1/2 bell pepper (any color)

» 2 green chilis or 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional only add if you have a good spice tolerance and you want a kick)

» 1.5 teaspoons of lemon juice

» 1/2 cup milk (highly recommend almond milk for fluffier feel but any milk preference is alright)

» Cooking spray/oil

Scrambled Eggs with a twist

– Crack 3 eggs into a bowl and whisk it until the yolks and whites are evened out.

– Cut the vegetables. for avocados, reference this video on cutting avocado slices if you wish to make it look nice. (https://youtu.be/3QwuG2v-WxI

– While you beat the eggs, set a nonstick pan onto the stove and spray cooking oil on the surface so the eggs won’t stick to the pan.

– Once the pan has heated up a little, carefully pour in the eggs and mix in the milk

– Stir the eggs so they don’t stick together too much while they’re cooking.

Spray cooking oil on the eggs occasionally if you notice them stick to the pan.

– Once the eggs begin to solidify, add in the vegetables, excluding avocados

– Once the eggs are squishy but not liquidy, they are cooked

– Add your lemon juice and top the eggs in your plate with avocado slices.

– Add salt and pepper to your tastes if you wish!

Do you have any tips or tricks on making it or why people may like this recipe, or any memories from it?

Komal: the one thing that you can do with this recipe is be careful. when you’re working with oil on a stove if you’re not careful you could get hurt. that’s why i recommend using cooking oil. if you don’t have any, use small amounts of oil as necessary. when you pour the eggs onto the pan as well and add in vegetables please look out for being splashed with hot oil or water. also a rubber spatula is good for stirring. i think a lot of people could benefit from this recipe because it’s efficient, mostly simple, and it tastes good. if it encouraged me to eat breakfast, it can do the same for you 🙂

With that everyone, we’ve reached the end of the post! We know you wanted to read more xD but I will be back next time with more fresh and delicious content! If anyone would like to share a recipe with us, DM me with your ideas!!!

Bon Appetit! <3
