No-bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars Recipe by Tasty

Why is this recipe important to you, is it a family recipe, or any history/story behind it?

Nene: It’s actually a recipe my family has had for a very long time. It took me quite a while to decipher the recipe actually since it’s a bit old.

Next comes the best part the Recipe!!! (As described by Nene)

‏Ingredients

» 1 roll pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies

» 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

» 1 cup crunchy peanut butter

» 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 egg yolks

» 1 bag semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)

Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar

» Heat oven to 350 and spray on a tray by 13×9 (or whatever works best for you)

» Cut cookie dough in half, crosswise cut each section in half lengthwise, with flowered fingers press dough in the bottom of the pan to form a crust.

» Bake for 10 minutes.

» In a medium bowl stir condensed milk, peanut butter, and egg yolks with whisk or spoon until smooth.

» Remove crust from oven (may have to butter), spoon milk mixture over crust (carefully spread)

» Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.

» Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips, let stand for 3 minutes, spread evenly over top, cool for multiple hours until cooled and refrigerate 30 minutes.

Do you have any tips or tricks on making it or why people may like this recipe, or any memories from it ?

Nene: This recipe was chosen because it is something we used to always make for Christmas growing up. Something we always did when we first got up in the morning was to make a whole bunch of cookies or goods to eat.

Amazing! Well, thank you again Nene for sharing this yummy recipe with us!

Nene: No problem!
