Weekly HF Update

  • LCXI Finals! The final round of LCXI took place on Saturday, and Help Force succeeded in achieving second place in the tournament. Amazing job, Helpers:HFsalute:
  • Igloo Raids! On Sunday we will have a mega-event with igloo raids! Want to collect the party stamp? Make sure you attend the event on Sunday!:EI:

Chapter 5: The Finale

This is it. The finish line. The reason it all began. If you stuck with us all the way till the end, experiencing this journey with us, know that we are thankful for you.

‘Ice Crusher!’ The medal looked really good on her profile. She would keep checking it out from time to time and look back at the good times, the hard work, the dedication, and the time that everyone had put into the battle. It was now time for the finale. The almighty Rebel Penguin Federation, or as they were better known as, RPF. Stella had heard stories about these army giants but was yet to witness them in action. People kept talking about how they had never won a round against them, and this didn’t sit well with Stella. She believed in her family, Help Force wasn’t a walkover, and they would certainly not stand about and do nothing about it. Preparations were in full flow. People were scrambling to help out in any way they could, messaging people, hyping up the chat, recruiting, taking part in blitzes, the works. She took a quick look at the Legends Cup announcement. ‘200 reactions!? That’s crazy!’ Stella exclaimed in amazement. She’d never seen so many reacts on anything. Saturday was approaching quick, and the nerves were getting to her..

Day of Battle

Stella woke up exhausted, she’d been busy hyping up all night and recruiting all morning. However, she knew there was no stopping now, one last push! Just a few hours to battle, the HCOM decided to hold a training session and get the people excited to attend the battle. She sent a few tactics in the suggestions channel and joined the battle VC. The songs being played pre-battle had her fired up! She was ready to showdown at that instant if needed. As the people patiently waited for the room to be announced. The Judges announced the first room, ‘Inside Mine’ People rushed to get in to cement their spot in the room and a flurry of tactics ensued. 10 minutes of strenuous tactics and formation changes later, it was time for the second room. She felt iffy about the first room, ‘Could be their room, could be a tie’ they wouldn’t know until the battle was done however, and the feeling of possibly losing a chance was killing her inside. ‘Stadium’ The second room was announced, and people went erratic, running in every direction as they bombed the second room. Help Force was looking good in this room, and she was pretty delighted with how they performed as a team. However, all would come to a halt as the third room was announced. ‘Iceberg’ She quickly clicked on it on her map. ‘Room is full’ It was a nightmare. This couldn’t be happening. Iceberg was the hardest room to get back into, and her face sulked as she realized this. She would be stuck in the lockout room and there was nothing she could do to help her family out in battle. This was it. The battle was done. The judges asked them to log off, meaning a decision had been made. There would be one decisive victor, and as the moment doomed closer and closer, she had a gut feeling they had lost it. And yes, as predicted, RPF won 2-1. She was devastated. But hey! There’s always another year and they did win a room! So, this year Stella had to settle for the silver, something she wished she could change but had no control over. Seeing the efforts that the staff and troops had put into the prep made her tear up and she was very proud of what they had achieved as a family. As she lay to sleep, the past 4 weeks flashed before her eyes and she snuggled into her bed as she told herself, ‘We’ll get em’ next time!’
