Table of Contents:
Where the Infinite Tower is located
Now that the Medieval Party has ended, the Infinite Tower lives on as a book!
Head into the Coffee Shop, then take the stairs to the Book Room upstairs. Look for the book titled “Infinite Tower”, open it to start climbing!
The Basics
Climb the Infinite Tower by collecting treasure, artefacts, and surviving enemies and traps!
Interface Explained
Top Interface
The top middle of your screen displays your current Tower height and the treasure you’ve collected. You can spend treasure on artefacts or clothing in the Jester Room.
The parchment icon shows the 10 notes hidden in Secret Rooms throughout the Tower. You will need to find all of them before you challenge the Boss of the Tower.
The white flag ends your run. If you give up, you keep only 30–70% of your treasure and lose all weapon artefacts. Clicking “yes” will send you back to the island.
Your artefacts are stored in the backpack icon, where you can hold up to 4 at a time.
Artefacts
Artefacts are weapons, equipment, or support items that give your penguin helpful buffs.
- Find them in chests using keys.
- Stored in your backpack (top right corner).
- You can only carry 4 at a time, so choose wisely!
- Right-click an artifact to see its stats.
- Use numbered keys on your keyboard to activate them.
Use numbered keys on your keyboard to activate them.
YOU NEED TO DRAG AND DROP THEM INTO SLOTS OR YOU WILL LOSE THEM!
Click here for the list of artefacts.
Artefact Glitches
nfortunately, due to the complex coding behind this, some artifacts may not work as intended.
Currently, players have reported the following issues:
- Always check that you can visually see the equipped artifacts on your penguin — this means they are active.
If they aren’t showing, try rearranging your artifacts in your backpack. You can do it anytime. - Consuming the Dragon Potion will disable the use of all weapons until its effect wears off.
- Some artifacts can cancel each other out, especially body equipment items.
Best Artefacts*
*Everyone has their own play style and strategies to maximize their wins, but a few artifacts stand out for their benefits:
Top Pick: Welding Mask – boosts your damage output by one each room you visit!
Second Best: Infinite Pizza – slows you down slightly but heals you!
Third Best: Life Ring – grants extra shields when you take damage.
Fourth Best: Duck Floatie – pushes elementals away from you and you do not take any damage from touching them!
But do not feel pressured to use these, it’s all about fun and you might find that some of these do not work that best for YOU or your playing style.
Popular loadouts often include:
Welding Goggles or Ninja Mask, Duck Floatie or Jetpack, and a Viking Helmet or Hardhat.
Health Bar
Elemental Throwable Consumables
In the bottom right corner of your screen, you’ll see your throwable items and keys.
- Throwables help you fight enemies, juslit like in Card Jitsu – Snow > Water > Fire > Snow.
- Keys are used to open chests.
- Use keyboard keys to throw the consumables at the elementals.
You start with 2 of each throwable and 0 keys. You’ll find more as you explore the tower! They are all just single use.
Fighting Elementals
Before we enter her are a few tips for fighting elementals:
- Throw between enemies to hit multiple at once.
- All elements deal damage, even if they aren’t the weakness.
- Keep moving to avoid getting hit.
- Don’t touch fire elementals — they hurt on contact.
- Melee from a short distance still counts and keeps you safer!
Now, let’s start climbing!
The First Room
When you enter the Tower, you’ll see a key and a chest. Step on the key to pick it up, then go to the chest and press R to unlock it. Inside, you’ll get your first Artifact!
Artefacts are weapons, equipment, or support items that give your penguin helpful buffs.
Room Types
Rooms in the tower can be one of several types: Maze, Battle, Outdoor, Secret and Jester — some combine elements of each. You’ll find treasure, throwables, and sometimes secret room entrances. Once you leave a room, you can’t go back, so explore carefully!
Here is a breakdown of each room:
1. Maze Room
These rooms have no obstacles, only waves of elementals to fight. Defeat some or all of them to earn an artifact chest and a key. Sometimes the key won’t appear visibly but will be added directly to your inventory.
You’ll also often pick up one or two elemental consumables from a puddle (water), snow patches (snow), scorch marks (fire).
Keep an eye out, there’s a chance a secret room entrance may appear here!
P.S. If you can’t find an exit, there’s definitely a secret room entrance nearby. Try walking into the walls (like in Harry Potter) to reveal hidden passages.
3. Outdoor Room
These rooms are located outside the tower and act as a hybrid between a Battle Room and a Maze Room, featuring obstacles and lots of enemies. Sometimes they only have gold, I suppose if you’re after it out door rooms are helpful.
You might find a bit more gold, a chest, or a key. Unfortunately, secret room entrances never appear here, so they’re a bit underwhelming in terms of lore or progress.
Just like in Maze Rooms, you can skip the elementals if there are any and keep climbing, but be warned, they might attack if you get too close!
4. Secret Room
These rooms are fairly rare, and their entrances aren’t marked. You can:
- Use the 3D Glasses artifact to get entrances highlighted in yellow.
- Or look for a small opening at the base of a wall (crawl spaces).
- Secret Room entrances are located only within the inside the Tower.
Inside, you’ll find a free artifact box and a note. You need to collect 10 notes to unlock the boss battle.
There are no enemies in these rooms, just a cosy space to relax and learn more about Garianna’s story. However, once you’ve collected all 10 notes, the free artifact rewards stop, so grab them while you can!
After collecting all 10, the coffee table in the room transforms into a portal leading to the final boss. You can choose to fight her then or continue climbing the tower.
5. Jester Room
The Jester’s Room is a safe space, like the Shop floor, where you can:
- Exit to keep your weapons, gold, and record your top score.
- Or spend gold on artefacts, including clothing for your in game inventory.
If you’re building up your weapon collection, make sure to buy a weapon artifact before leaving to add it to your inventory. Just make sure you have enough treasure to afford it!
Artefacts are grouped as:
- Clothing (hanger icon) – there are not used while climbing the tower.
- Equipment (armor icon)
- Weapons (sword icon)
- Support (potion icon)
Box colors show rarity:
- Brown (common), each item is worth 150 treasure
- Green (uncommon), each item is worth 300 treasure
- Purple (rare), each item is worth 375 treasure
- Red (legendary), each item is worth 750 treasure
Check our Artefacts List to explore what you can get and how much each one costs.
There may also be a secret room entrance, so keep an eye out!
P.S. If you can’t find an exit, there’s definitely a secret room entrance nearby. Try walking into the walls (like in Harry Potter) to reveal hidden passages.
Post-Tower Rewards
After exiting through the Jester’s Room, you’ll be able to:
- Keep your weapons (See Artefacts which ones you get)
- View your climb stats (total gems earned and highest floor reached).
- Track your costume progress.
The Costume
The tower gear is unlocked in stages as you climb higher. Here’s the order in which you’ll receive the set:
- Cloud Striders (boots)
- Wind Fists (gloves)
- Pillars’ Heart Guard (chestplate)
- Sky Mantle (cape)
- WatchTower Helm (helmet)
Each item marks your growing strength as a tower climber, with the helm being the ultimate reward! The full costume also features a special animation, with the symbol of infinity wrapping around you!
Re-entering the Tower
If you ever want to play the Infinite Tower again, you’ll be placed on a random floor and can start climbing from there.
It’s unclear what determines the starting floor, it seems to be completely random!
Notes
You’ll need to collect 10 notes hidden across 10 secret rooms. This can take some time, but there’s no need to rush, you can gather them across multiple tower runs!
These notes reveal Garianna’s backstory and motivations. I’ve compiled them all here so you don’t have to scroll too much, it’s just for lore, but worth the read if you’re curious.

The Witch Fight
The final boss battle in Club Penguin Journey’s Infinite Tower is bugged and very challenging. It took me 5 attemps to win. It’s tough, and you might not get the reward due to bugs! You have been warned!
Tips:
- Stock up on throwable elemental consumables.
- Use ranged weapons for the fight.
- Try your top 4 artefacts for best results.
How to Enter the Battle
There’s no specific floor or height requirement to unlock this encounter. Collecting all 10 notes is the only condition needed to trigger the fight.
- Collect all 10 notes.
- Enter the secret room and go through the mirror.
- You’ll spawn in a cosmic room. Use the stairs (they may be bugged, so check the opposite side).
Phase One: Elementals
- Garianna talks, then sends 3 waves of elementals, after beating them, she runs.
- Left wall is the exit (stairs are broken use the wall on the right).
Phase Two: Maze
- Follow her through 3 rooms of obstacles to reach the final fight.
The final fight can be tough, I mean I got defeated 5 times! She has a pretty big health bar and will throw attacks at you.
Final Fight Tips
- Stay back, dodge after she attacks.
- Use consumable elemental throws from a distance.
- Aim to the centre when the witch is about to reach the side of the window.
- When she comes down, she hits back, only go melee if you’re sure you can finish her or you have enough HP yourself.
After defeating her, Gariana will drop a ladder — use it to climb to the roof. This part is currently bugged: you’ll either see a cutscene or be teleported straight to the Snow Forts.
If the cutscene plays, Gariana will reflect that power isn’t worth sacrificing friendships, and that the Tower must be sealed away. After that, a second cutscene will attempt to play, this one is also bugged, and you’ll be stuck on a frozen screen. Just wait it out; eventually, you’ll be returned to the Snow Forts and receive the background unlock notification.
Well done, you defeated Garianna and the Tower bugs!
Battle Reward
For defeating the main boss of the tower, Garianna, the Witch of the Five Kingdoms, like a true hero, players receive a special reward!
It took me 5 attempts 😢to win the fight, but I did it!

ty this is very informative <3
Super helpful! You mentioned that the welding mask stack damage every room however I’ve also seen that done with the jetpack. Maybe it’s a bug? I’ve also heard that the ice cream apron heals every floor which could also be a bug
Hi, Kaiya here!
Honestly no idea, welding mask is so overpowered because of the mechanic/ bug. I haven’t been as successful with the jetpack in my runs, so I mostly used the mask.
