Food for Every Soul » The Help Force

I started off by asking some questions about the recipe that Lisa decided to share with us today!

Welcome Lisa to our recipe series interview! Can you tell us what recipe you will talking about today?

Lisa: Hellooooo I will be telling you guys how to make THE BEST air fryer brownies bahahaaha Its great and doesnt take much time and who doesnt like brownies right? 😀

Air Fryer Brownies

Can you tell us why this recipe is important to you? Is it a family recipe, and is there any history or story behind it?

Lisa: its not a family recipe its just a recipe which worked and didnt turn out to be a disaster I dont know how to cook and this is one of the only thing i can make without killing myself or setting the house on fire!! I was randomly scrolling through reels and saw the word “air fryer brownies” and then i gave it a try and it turned out SO GOOD!!! I had to make some changes in the recipe tho but yeah 😀

But here comes the best part, the recipe! (As explained by Lisa!)

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Melted Unsalted Butter (Dont use Salt if the butter is Salted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Chocolate Chips/Pieces (You may use dark chocolate or milk chocolate, I prefer Dark Chocolate tho)

Steps:

  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix well until combined and keep it aside for later.
  • In a different bowl, add the sugar and melted butter (make sure the butter has cooled down to room temperature before adding it).
  • Add a large egg into the sugar-butter mixture.
  • Whisk the mixture until its combined and has a smooth texture.
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
  • Combine the contents of both bowls (the flour mixture and the salt-butter-egg mixture) into one and mix well.
  • Melt 3/4th cup of chocolate and let it cool down a bit before adding it to the mixture.
  • Mix well again
  • Finally you can add chocolate chips or chocolate pieces, you can also add nuts if you want.
  • Finally transfer the mixture into a dish that fits into your air fryer (you can use oven too but this recipe is preferably for air dryers)
  • Set the temperature to 175C for 15-20 minutes depending on how gooey you want the brownies to be (I prefer 16 minutes )
  • Let the brownies set and cool down and then enjoy 😀

Air Fryer Brownies

Do you have any tips or tricks on making it or why people may like this recipe, or any memories from it?

Lisa: I would suggest eating it with chocolate or vanilla icecream and a chocolate drizzle (omw to make it again cos its heavenly). A fun memory would be when i was stressed about my assessments and ended up making 3 batches of brownies just cos i didnt know how to fix an error and my brain was dead

Thank you Lisa for this very yummy recipe that everyone should eat especially during the nice Summer days!

With that, we’ve reached the end of the post. I know you wanted to read more XD but I will be back next time with more fresh and delicious content. If anyone would like to share a recipe with us, DM me with your ideas!
