The Unicorn…? Pt II

As Sparkles stood there, dejected, his friend, a wise old owl named Oliver, swooped down from a nearby tree. Oliver had been observing the whole scene and decided to offer some words of wisdom.
“Sparkles,” Oliver hooted gently, “you may not have a horn, but you are still a magnificent horse. Your strong legs, your sleek coat, and your friendly spirit make you unique in your own way.”
Sparkles looked up at Oliver, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. “You really think so?”
“Absolutely,” Oliver replied, nodding wisely. “Being a unicorn is not what defines your worth. It’s your true character and the joy you bring to others.”
Sparkles pondered Oliver’s words and realized the truth in them. He realized that he didn’t need a horn to be special. He was already special just the way he was—a horse with a heart full of dreams and a spirit full of laughter.
From that day forward, Sparkles embraced his true identity as a horse, feeling proud of who he was. He continued to prance and frolic in the meadow, bringing smiles to the faces of everyone he encountered.
And as he looked at his reflection in the pond, he no longer saw a unicorn. Instead, he saw a horse with a big, goofy grin—and that made him happier than any imaginary horn ever could.
