The Help Force

I joined Help Force on the 19th of October 2020. I still had my original account on CPR before it got permanently banned. I remember being around the Mine Shack when a penguin named Diwix asked whether I want to join a “stamp hunter group”. At the time, I was obsessed with collecting stamps, knowing I had over 300 of them, so I decided to join. Not too long after joining did I realize that the “stamp group” was actually a Club Penguin Army in disguise. I was aware of Club Penguin Armies such as the RPF, the PZF and most likely the Templars, as I have lead an “army” myself, named Cofo. (It was actually a group of semi-organised rogues, we were meant to be the arch-nemesis to the PZF, it should make sense that during the time CPR was alive many armies that were centered around some kind of Job or item were created, such as the Tubas, Mopia and the others)

At first, I was reluctant, I saw the overhyped nature of Help Force as intoxicating, I compared them to “Skittles” due to their colorful names and personality, and I thought of leaving. Help Force was sad to hear me say such things, like any other cult Club Penguin army that respects itself, it tried to keep me in and have me participate in their events. Knowing that I had nothing better to do, I chose to remain in Help Force, and the rest is history.

Before I became a staff member, I was known to be quite rowdy during 2021, I have been Commodore for 1 year at that point and I was bored of not getting any other rank ups. Most who knew me since back then know better, and I apologize for my past actions. I got muted and even banned at some point, but then was brought back and given a second chance. I have been told by others “Stop, why are you doing this?” and I told them “I hate being just a mere grunt, I wish I had a fraction of the power that Commanders have, since they have the final word on what happens to Help Force.”

On a faithful day, Wynn and Snowy (the commanders at that time) opened the Junior Staff applications. I said “This is my chance, better give it a shot”. On the 27th of March, I recieved a DM from Wynn: “We need to talk”. Sensing that I have done something wrong I asked “What did I do this time?”, to which she responded “nothing, i vouched for you you will become a junior. But for the love of god, you need to take into account all that i told you before bc you have only one chance.” It was then that I pledged my vow: “I will try to serve Help Force with all the power I can muster. ” The following day, I became a Brigadier. I was estatic, knowing that I will get to work with the people who keep Help Force alive, by assisting the Staff with events, DM-ing Helpers and recruiting new people into our army. It was then that I finally started having a purpose. I strived for many things, going for GoTW, Specialist even. I quickly raised through the Junior Staff ranks. Then, there was a time where I remained as a Lieutenant General… I waited several months, expecting to get ranked after a tournament, but no repsonse… It was not until ROOBOO became Commander that my true potential was recognized. He is the one who told me “You have mastered your responsibilities as a Junior Staff, you are needed”. I thank him for being the one to realize that I can be much more.

On the 14th of November 2022, I finally got promoted to General, and with that I began making my own events, such as the Super Mario Event, the Gigachad event, and many more. The staff were obviously impressed by my creativity and sheer will to see Help Force grow.

Yoda: what is your goals? 

My main goal is to see Help Force grow as an army, win tournaments and get the first place in Top Tens. Those goals are similar to many other HCOM, and some might argue they are similar, if not identical to most Commanders, not only from HF, but from other armies as well. I am striving to climb the hierarchy so that I can get more tools to assist Help Force with, but at the same time I want to see what hides under the hood. With each passing day, I get closer and closer to seeing the truth, maybe some day I will discuss with Elp and Ayan themselves on how to lead Help Force to a greater future, only time will tell.

Yoda: What is the best thing about being a staff member and what is your advice to those who wants to be staff?

The fact that I am truly the man behind the scenes, the man with the plan. I feel as if the more I rank up, the more toys I get to play with. Being able to communicate with other staff directly, like businessmen (and businesswomen) feels like we’re in some sort of corporation, making plans on how to make our stocks more valuable than the other companies. Also, the shiny new name colors are pretty cool, I guess.

My advice is: Ambition, Persistence, Perseverance. Those three pave the path to success. If you can redeem yourself, then you will be able to achieve greater heights. Also, remember, man is master of his own destiny.
