Weekly HF Update

  • Ice Crushers! On Sunday we had a fierce battle versus Ice Warriors and came out triumphant. Thank you everyone who attended and helped us crush the ice. TO THE FINALS:HFsalute:
  • LCXI Finals! The next round in the tournament is HF vs RPF. Be sure to attend and earn the exclusive Legends Cup XI Champions medal!:medal:

Chapter 4: Road to The Finals

‘What do you want your GoTW command to be Stella?’ asked one of the Commanders. ‘I think I’ll go with ‘A Help Force a Day, Keeps the Boredom at Bay!’. Stella was thrilled to be able to finally use all the other commands set by her fellow GoTW winners. Now that this was in the past, it was time to look into the future. Mission: Viking Destroyer was around the corner and work was yet to be done..

Fast forward mid battle

The Help Force had it in the bag, Stella was extremely confident that their sizes would enable them to emerge as the winners. And as her prediction would have it, Help Force shined throughout the battle in all three rooms! The judges announced the results shortly after, and all three rooms were awarded to The Help Force. No surprises there. Getting to the Semi-Finals was not the issue. It was winning it. The Ice Warriors were a force to reckon with, having been slumped by them in the past tournaments and practice battles, Stella was quite jittery trying to wrap her head around the fact that this might be the end of their Legends Cup run. The entire staff team had worked so hard throughout the week, making sure people were being reminded constantly as to what was at stake. The pressure was immense and the number of reactions the Ice Warriors were getting wasn’t making things any easier. Plans were being made to ensure people attended. The ‘Ice Crusher’ role was introduced. A whole day of recruiting was scheduled. No rest for the wicked, as they say. Everyone was scrambling, trying to reach out to as many people as they could. This was a must win battle for them. No excuses. No Overtime. Just one thing and one thing only. To have their little penguin hands raised at the end of this gruesome week, and a spot in the Finals. Sunday night was hours away. The cry to battle had sounded. They were ready to come out, guns blazing. It was a do or die, with only one thing that would suffice at the end of it, Victory and Revenge! It was time to log on. ‘Zipline-Stadium’ Everyone had already started entering, so much so that the room was full, and people were left out in the lockouts. The judges announced the rooms, and it was time to lock horns! Two rooms and a whole lot of drama later, The Help Force were given a 2-0 win and a spot in the finals! The entire server went ecstatic! Chants of ‘TO THE FINALS’ took over. It was a celebration, a much awaited one. Stella was overfilled with joy. She couldn’t believe it! All the hard work, the dedication and sleepless nights had been rewarded! As she composed herself, there was one thing she took away that day, ‘You Dream It, We Did It! You Are Jealous, Admit It!’ As the sun went down, Stella slept peacefully knowing that they had made it through, and it was only a week from now, that she’d do this all over again..
